For your glove, I thought it was more 2s based on what I see in the back that I’ve seen from Connor Ingram & Laurent Brossoit. When I noticed Vasy used the 2s glove in 2x skinned edition in 2019 & 2020 season. That’s where I was thinking of those specs.

@@KasimirKaskisuoOfficial Cool, thanks for the reply! What did you notice when you changed the profile? I’ve been wanting to try goalie sam as well. 1/4" sounds really, really sharp 😅 I’d probably struggle shuffling at all with those. Currently using FBV 100-75, which is around 3/8" I believe.

@@jouni- its been awhile now but maybe a bit sharper toe with mid-blade better for shuffles. I like them sharp for control and good pushes from butterfly

Tell me about the stiffness or flex of the pads how do you rate um next to EFLEX line?

Ive never tried the CCM’s, my pads come pretty stiff out of the box, but break down nicely so they have some flex to them while holding their shape

Just curious, have you tried the Mach and Hyperlite pads? I’m also in 2X, but will eventually replace with Hyperlite.

I tested the stock hyperlite pads, i just dont like the built in knee block at all. I’m open to ‘upgrading’ my specs to the latest models as long as i have the traditional knee block

Have you liked that 2x core in the pads and are you going to switch to the new bauer 580 glove

No issues with the 2x core so no reason to switch. Also my glove is my favorite part of my set so wont be messing with it anytime soon haha

I’ve tried them, didnt like them at all for no control in rvh and post play, and they pull the ankle on butterfly which can lead to injuries

How do I test out a stick grip without ruining my sticks

You should be able to saw a version of the trigger grip, just dont go too far and cut into the core of the stick
