MY GECKOS REVIEW ALL THE PANGEA DIETS!

Today we are going to be reviewing the following diets from Pangea - Breeding Formula, Banana and Apricot, Banana and Papaya, Fruit Mix & Insects, and Watermelon and Mango! I tried these over the last 2 months with my Crested Gecko and Chahoua. Enjoy! :)

Hi Leopard Gecko! I just wanted to tell you that I've been watching your channel for awhile now, and I really love it! I was originally asking my parents for a corn snake, but since my mom wasn't very comfortable with snakes, I reached out to my family members, and my aunt told me that geckos are a good pet as well. Specifically, leopard geckos! (She said their fat tails were really cute, and I agree!!) I did my best to research everything just like I did with the corn snake, but only this time, the researching was harder. On each new site I looked at, the information either had a twist to it, or was completely different. This just got me frustrated and confused. This is where I went to KZbin. I wanted to find someone who owned leopard geckos, and actually knew what they were talking about, and then I found you! So sorry for me rambling on, but I just wanted to say that your channel has helped me so much, and I am so grateful for having someone like you to help me. I will continue to watch more of your videos and try to catch myself if I'm still doing something wrong. But so far, my dad and mom approve of the gecko idea, and we've ordered a vivarium! But thank you, and keep up the not good, not great, but AMAZING work that you have done already.

Great video! All I feed my crested gecko are the Pangea types because he goes crazy for them😜 He used to eat repashy but he just didn’t like it as much, I have been wanting to try their new Mulberry Madness kind though because many people say their geckos would die for it. If you ever get the chance to please make a video on that!

I really liked this video with that say can you make a review of the different flavors of repashy crested gecko food diets. The best time to do this should be a round this time cause they recently made a new limited edition flavor called mulberry madness. I’ve bought myself some and I can’t wait to see how this diet does.

My guy won't eat the watermelon one at all, he loves the insect one though. He also seems to like Repashy diets overall better. I offer a lot of different diets though, I wish I could get him to eat live bugs but I have tried over and over and he won't lol

im getting my crested gecko banana/papaya and apricot tomorrow. atm she usually loves watermelon but i believe she is getting a little bored of it, not finishing her bowl. she also sometimes eats the fruit/insect mix but isnt as fascinated with it as she is with watermelon. i hope to try the breeding formula soon as my girl is nearing 11 months

Banana has a lot of phosphate , which is a calcium binder, so it’s not good to feed constantly, and you must make sure they have sufficient calcium. I feed Pangea, and I love it.

my little crested gecko, yoshi (under a year old) HATES watermelon&mango pangea mix. i have to mix it with the insect mix to get him to eat it. he’s OBSESSED with insect mix so when he gets his crickets every once in a while he goes crazy and gets so excited to hunt! its the sweetest thing ever!!

I agree with you on thje banana.I'd have concerns about obesity,diabetes and fatty liver. Many zoos have stopped feeding bananas,and some other high sugar fruit due to the detrimental effects on their charges. I also will just throw this out that and this would be to only offer fruit during the summer and try to find a low to no fruit mix for fall and winter. I had house rabbits and never gage mine fruit,but with rabbits a g pigs,lots of fruit is very detrimental.

I use the fruit mix+insects and the watermelon mango with my crestie. I did find that he doesn’t love the fruit mix on its own so I usually do half fruit mix half watermelon and that gets him to eat it every time. I think the fruit mix just doesn’t smell as strongly so maybe that could be why they don’t go for it as fast as the others

I have a juvenile leopard gecko. He loves his bugs! So far, he’s devoured his mealworms and wax worms. I haven gotten any crickets for him yet as our store is out of the small ones, only having large. He’s so small I’m afraid two or three of them could carry him off! I may just think he’s very small because I’m used to my 600 gram beardie, Lizzie!

My cresty is a horses rear with food. I tried repashy and now pangea. The pangea he eats of the yellow bag and the watermelon but he's still kinda skinny for a 5" cresty. Not worried though he's left enough poop streaks on his vivarium glass I know he's healthy.

ah maybe you could try a bit of breeding formula. I find adults tend to be around 18-19cm if they have tails.

I want to get a crested gecko and I know they need crickets like, at least once a week for proteins, but if I can't manage to get crickets, can I only use the Pangea Fruit Mix With Insects (the red one)? Or do I NECESSARILY have to get crickets to feed them once a while, or could I get other flavours and feed them, and once a week feed them the pangea with fruits and insects mix?

Pangea is pretty much the only gecko diet we've fed ours, and she likes all of the flavors. We've found that she eats much better if we change flavor daily. We do see a markedly improved feeding response for the one with insects over the other flavors, but even with that one, if you feed it two days in a row, she'll eat less.

Yes, all of these are complete diets. You do not have to feed any insects if you don’t want to.

you can use any, but their website does say the breeding formula can help with growth, but only give occasionally.
