I suggest that you number each magazine. If you are getting failures, the numbers on the magazine will help you identify if the failures are specific to a particular magazine (in which case, it is likely that that particular magazine is the problem) or if they occur with all magazines (in which case, it is probably not a magazine issue).

Any suggestions on lite strikes?. 92x RDO , It does not matter if im using the factory #16 D spring or 14# hammer spring ,i even went up to #17 same random lite strikes, I replaced the firing pin, triple checked the firing pin cavity, replaced the firing pin block lever, new factory trigger bar , sent it to beretta for warranty and still does it. Next going to replace the firing pin block , after that i just dont know. Guess a new slide. Earnest commented the firing pin block might not be getting out of the way fast enough, which makes sense because not all the lite strikes are the same detent on the primer , some barley have a mark others have obviously hit harder, this is frustrating as heck , also thought of getting the Wilson combat deluxe hammer, says it improves primer ignition with the lighter hammer spring, #14 is what i like to use. Also Earnest assured me it's not the Ammo, he said S&B , speer/CCI brass case, and Magtech should fire reliably with the 14# Hammer, and as I stated earlier I have tried 17# still has same issue. UPDATE! The polymer Hammer spring cap was garbage! This 92X from the factory came with the Flush hammer spring cap, after a viewer suggested it might be that guess what it was. Inside was distorted,along with the pin hole elongated vertically, matching up the new aluminum cap with polymer the Aluminum one fits a bit tighter,Beretta warranty work should have found this, anyway put in Factory aluminum lanyard hammer spring cap and no longer an issue. Boy did I learn a hard lesson. Triple check everything myself.

Does the gun have the polymer hammer spring cap? Might want to check that out. I had a similar issue on a LTT, and the polymer in the spring pocket was deformed, almost like it was too soft. The retaining pin hole had elongated as well. Weirdest thing I ever saw. Replaced it with the aluminum cap, which is still available.
@jason32112 ай бұрын
Yes it does have the polymer end cap. It does not look deformed but I will definitely replace it with an aluminum one, that is a very good point thank you for the help.

This is a long shot but try replacing the trigger bar spring. I had a problem recently on a 92FS where the trigger bar spring wasn't strong enough and the trigger bar was not pushed all the way up during the trigger pull, causing it to fall on half cock instead. Try pulling the trigger while pressing up on the trigger bar and see if that seems to fix the issue.

I just ordered a wolff trigger bar spring ,👍 and have an aluminum lanyard hammer spring cap on the way. @@tstststs

Been shooting 92s in competition for 20 years, and the newer TN made stuff is much less reliable and durable than the guns made in MD.

Yeah bought a new 92 last month and it shoots low at 15 yards like really low. Like 2 feet low even from a rest. They offered no solution but an adjustable rear sight. That turd got dumped at a loss. My 2005 inox from Italy is my only 92 now but she runs.
