Rogain Rogain and Rogain!!! I have been using it for last 10 years and when I stop I loose hair. If you want to have more hair try it. Hair care is like skin care. If you see results with Tretinoin why would you stop using it? So Rogain is the same, I do not worry about the fact that I have to use it for the rest of my life to see results.

Minoxidil has a proven effect of causing temporary hair loss 3 to 6 months after the end of the treatment, because of how the medication works on changing the growth cycles of your hair folicles. That’s why you see increase hair loss when you stop it. Also - no one should use isotretinoin forever, as it has real and severe side effects. Those are for sure not comparable medications in any way shape or form

The way minoxidil (Rogaine) works on hair loss is that it only works for as long as you use it. That’s just how it works.

I was doing all the natural masks and treatments and spending so much time energy and money every week with so so results and then finally I tried rogaine and my hair is growing amazingly, better than ever before, and it takes one minute a day- a little puff of foam and rub it in. instead of hours with a red light helmet, masks. Shampoos, scalp oils, expensive supplements I am not convinced we need anyway if we are eating well. Just use the rogaine, 1 minute a day, 30 or 40$ a month. It’s a no brainer. Science has proven it works. In like 3 months. The alternatives take so much time and money and dont get the same results.

I feel like such an asshole cuz i have a lot of thick curly course hair n always been very frustrated with how long hair care n styling takes...i take my hair for granted... n often tell ppl who say i wabt ur hair n i jokingly say take it... but hair loss for women is very devastating. Im goibg to start getting grateful for my hair no matter how long it takes to style

I had annoyingly thick hair until I reached my early 30’s. Then it steadily began to thin out. Now, 20+ years later, it’s visibly thinning. I miss those days of “unmanageable” thick hair.

Same! I have thick hair but it has started to fall out from wearing it up in ponytails 25/7All around my hairline I have huge areas of new growth from taking Vital Proteins Collagen Peptides. Tbh, that's where I've seen the best results in my skin and hair, but NOT my nails, unfortunately. I work in the medical industry and have to wash hands constantly. Any tips on nail growth?

I'm so happy for you! I just lost my hair to chemo (looks like eyebrows are about to checkout as well) and I had healthy, thick and shiny hair. When I finally had to shave it all off (I looked like Golum with the bald patches), I realised how much my red hair was a part of my identity and how I took it for granted, even complained how long it took me to dry and style it...I know it will grow back, but being over 40,I wonder if it will be the same.

I wouldn't do micro needling on long hair, I think it would cause you problems with more hair breakage again and you'd loose all the progress you've accomplished. You've heard the saying "If it's not broke don't fix it). In otherwords your hair is doing great so don't mess with it just keep doing what your doing. The man you mentioned that did the micro needling had very short to almost no hair so micro needling wouldn't affect his hair falling out like it would long hair. Also I'd be worried about getting your long hair tangled up in the micro needling roller. Now that would be a nightmare.😢

Hey! I used The Ordinary serum and after a bottle and a half my baby hair growth was OUT of control! It really helped. Another option since you like Be Minimalist is the Hair Growth Actives 18% Hair Serum!! I'm using that one now and it seems really good. I had noticed that after using The Ordinary one for a while the new hair growth really slowed down - maybe I developed a bit of a tolerance to it - so I switched and the new hair growth I'm seeing has been great!

I was also thinking of trying the Nutrafol products but wasn’t 100% sure… now after watching this video I’m definitely going to try it! I also seen the video where Dr. Idriss says throw the kitchen sink at your hair loss and I kind of agree. I was thinking of starting the micro needling but I’ve been was a bit nervous, nonetheless I think I might just give it a try! I think it would be really cool if you did as well and the rest of us got to see your experience ❤

Minoxidil was NO for me, the use it or loose it approach wasn't sustainable, it also left me feeling greasy and having to wash more often which wasn't great for mids/ends. I used a rosemary/peppermint tea made with essential oils, applied nightly with scalp massage, not greasy and definitely experienced regrowth. My hair is fine, low density, wavy. I added a shower filter, use a hard water shampoo 1-2x/month, stopped using volumizing shampoo for strengthening formulas and use a hair mask for a regular was day conditioner. I'm 57, do not color my hair and have grays throughout but prominently at the temple. I don't heat style except for diffusing roots and a bit of hover diffusing. My hair is collar bone length, I never do tight styles with ponytail bands; claw clips or hair combs only.

Hi there, since I am from Duesseldorf/Germany I cannot get all this stuff you showing here. I was struggeling with stress related really mean hair loss and fighting now my receding hairline🤯But what really helped and still helps me is 100%Aloe Vera gel and ja, the good old rosemary oil. I massage it in every night and during the day I use the Aloe as a refreshing gel for my curls. Hair is growing like hell, I swear! Due to the moisture sitting in the Aloe no frizz at all also. And by the way, don't use this repair mask too often, have a look at the second ingredient: This will dry out your hair. You might better drink alcohol than putting it on your - thanks to Mel - beautiful hair❤

Instead of using rograin and/or monoxidil, use rosemary essential oil and peppermint essential oil in your shampoo. Peppermint oil for circulation and rosemary oil has carsonic acid which helps regrow hair. Lavender oil helps to keep pigment in your hair as well. If you don’t want to put these into your hair wash routine, use black Jamaican caster oil extra dark as a carrier oil for the peppermint, lavender and rosemary oils, and use as a hot oil treatment. They’re so helpful. Your hair will LOVE YOUU.
@ktj8074

You have to be careful with what oils you put on your scalp. A lot of them will feed the natural yeast that your scalp produces and cause fungal dandruff. I learned this the hard way. So far the only oil I’ve found that doesn’t cause this issue for me is jojoba oil. Probably because jojoba oil closely mimics the oils ur skin naturally produces.

@@ktj8074 essential oils can’t do that cause their consistency is really thin. They’re more like a liquid menthol. Also peppermint oil can kill fungal dandruff as well. Black Jamaican castor oil can also help get rid of fungi as it has anti fungal and anti bacterial properties

@@ubxtch Castor oil is what caused my fungal infection. I was using it to try and grow my hair since it was thinning and I ended up having to go to the Derm because my scalp was so itchy. I ended up with dandruff caused by an overgrowth of natural fungi on the scalp. Which the Derm said was caused by the castor oil and the fungus feeding on it.
@ubxtch
@ubxtch 8 ай бұрын
@@ktj8074 depends what castor oil you were using. Black Jamaican castor oil is noncomedogenic as well. Black Jamaican castor oil has been used in Africa for hair treatments since the dawn of time. The way it’s made is by roasting and boiling castor seeds. The ash that’s produced from it is what helps the hair and kills fungi because it’s has a high ph level than regular castor oil.

My two cents (that may not even apply to you)...If you've been diagnosed with androgenic alopecia, save yourself all the $$$ and heartache on products and treatments and just start minoxidil. For me, starting minoxidil felt like giving up on my belief in my hair's ability to grow on its own, and I didn't want to do that. It was emotionally really hard to start minoxidil and I tried to psych myself out of it for years. But....I regret not starting sooner, I regret those 6 months where I stopped, and I'm so happy to be back on it. I also hugely regret all the money/hassle spent on treatments that ultimately didn't work (hair oiling...). AGA SUCKS but there are far worse conditions to have to deal with.

A few years ago, my hair stylist noticed that the hair in the centre of my hair had broken off and I was basically almost bald in that area. She said she had a previous client with the same issue but her hair grew back after a time. So trying to pro-active, I bought an electric scalp massager and an IRESTORE helmet. My hair gradually grew back but I don't know how much those two gadgets helped. Recently, I stopped relaxing my hair and I cut most of it off. It was long but thinning out. Since then, my hair has basically been growing extremely fast and thick and I am over 40. I still use the IRESTORE (I am still using the older version) and I also massage my scalp with several oil (including Rosemary) at least two to three times a week.

I think if you are a man or women with very short hair it will be fine but a woman with long hair is going to get a lot of breakage or damage from the needles, the rollers and stamps are wider than the hair part, so you have to go over the hair. Is she vegan? It’s nice to try it and I tried it myself,(Failed) I knew a girl in her 20s a full vegan for so many yrs, finally all her serious health problems stopped once the Dr told her she needed to go off Vegan. Can this be a possible issue for her hair?

What seems to have worked for me is Magnesium (glycinate). I have taken 240 mg daily for the last 4 years. It was recommended to me as a natural muscle relaxant, for my fibromyalgia, by a integralist dr. , here in Bay Area. At some point along this time I have noticed a lot of new growth and also is longer now than I have ever managed to get it grow. Generally seems healthier. The new growth was so significant that I suddenly had a hair whorl in front that was hard to manage and on the back I need pins to hold the baby hairs when I wear a ponytail. I think I have better hair now, at 55 (also dying my hair) than I had in my 20s. I figured out the Mg was responsible for that, 'cause there's only one other medication (Naltrexone 4mg) that I have taken constantly all this period. I have always had very thin, fine and sparse hair. I have taken only one kind of Mg this whole time, a specific brand that was recommended. Trying to figure out what had helped, I saw online that there's evidence that Mg supports new hair growth. I suppose that the vit ur taking (though I haven't spotted Mg on the list of ingredients) might work in the same way. 👍 I should mention that I still lose a lot of hair. All the best for you, you'll figure that one too, as you did with so many things in the past. I've been admiring you for many years, your oppeness, determination to find solutions, truthfulness, your strength... You're something else, girl ! 🤗

What I did notice was that the hair was dirty in the before pics but clean in the after pics. When my hair is dirty my hair loss is obvious but soon as I wash an blow dry it you can't even tell.. I am referring to the other people's pics in this video. In Cassandra's pics in her first photo her hair is oily an the last pic isn't but her head is not forward nearly as much as the before photo's. I hate that its so hard to trust anyone anymore. It makes me incredibly sad😞

I will say that my husband and I used iRestore Pro since August 2023 and we both saw noticeable change. My husband's crown of the head used to have thinning hair, it was almost baby hair thin. Now, after almost 7 months of consistent use, the hair there is much coarser and we see more hair there. It doesn't even look like he has a problem at first glance. Also, it filled in my hair at the temples. And for both of us we think it changed our hair color to more like what it was when we were younger. So, this is definitely something I would recommend. I understand that it is expensive. They do have a 12 month return policy, but we are definitely not going to returning ours.

What is the reason for taking Nutrafol with food . . . and will it affect your hair growth success if you don't?

I think most supplements that ask you to take with food is that so it's kinder to your stomach. Some vitamins can be irritating on an empty stomach.

I know this has nothing to do with this video but I am desperate. I make a big order from Stylevana and is showing as delivered. I was on holidays when it happened so I obviously don’t have it. And sent countless emails and no reply. Can someone please help me. Ps your hair looks amazing! You are lovely and you have been my emotional support to deal with my skin and even so phycological problems as you make things look so normal and fixable

My hair got so much better when I stopped eating vegan. I ate vegan in periods during my life, and can now, decades later, see that nothing really was better during those years. Just in the beginning (as usual when one tries a new way of eating). I lost hair from vegan diet, but during periods when I tried lots of strange supplements (with far eastern wonder powders and such). I really cant believe in this anymore. I got much better from eating a normal (but healthy, not fast food) diet. Also, I need more protein (with good balanse of amino acids) than "this little you can survive from" so I eat 1,5-2,0 grams per kg since some year now. Feels very good. No carnivore or such streange diet, just normal, but a little more protein since I need to build. When needing to build, one needs more protein than a healthy person. I do not like the industrial type of animal handling, so I look for animal products that are not produced in that way.

You can get plenty of protein from a plant-based diet. You may not have been eating healthfully when plant-based, given the reference to "eastern wonder powders," which are not required in a healthy plant-based diet. I once again remind everyone that the majority of people with hair loss are not vegans, and that the majority of vegans do not suffer hair loss.

@@tamcon72 That's how it uses to sound "You may not have been eating healthfully when plant-based". I can assure you I did. The fact is, regardlerss how one want it to be, that vegan diet do not have the same amino acid balance (one can NOT only go for "enough protein in total") and that it is not always as digestible. To eat vegan with minimal risks, one has to start making a great effort to fight anti nutrients. To "do it right" include genuine sourdough, not eating a lot of raw stuff, avoiding some of what is seen on as wonder healthy food. And even then even with those who strive to "do it right" there are more people with bad hair and skin than amongst those who eat omnivore food. Of course there not has to be a mojority of anything, it is enough to easily be able to see that amongst vegans, there are more of bad hair, skin and low iron than amongst omnivore people (and then I do NOT mean obese people eating fast food only, of course I compare to people eating omivore diet with the same amount of effort put into it).

@@fornamnefternamn4869 There's a lot of questionable science [anti-nutrients, limiting amino acid theory, protein digestibility] in your comment, and broad generalization [there are more vegans with bad hair and skin than omnivores], that I'm not going to argue.

Please DONT use minoxidil!! It’s unsustainable and when you stop using it (usually happens to people around 9 months) all of your regrowth falls out again and the worst part is that the hair you had before using minoxidil also becomes reliant upon the minoxidil and also falls out. So you’re left with less hair than when you started. Do this a few times and you’ll regret it just like me… every time you do this you’re left with less and less hair because you just can’t use minoxidil twice a day for the rest of your life.
