Hack squats, lying leg curls, leg extensions. All 3-5 second holds, slow negatives, and FULL ROM and deep stretch every rep. Now I’ve got me some wheeeeeelsssss. More hypertrophy for legs worked for me. ALSO, love the vlog style man, wayyyyy better!

3 very decent workouts and glad to hear you like to control the weight rather than let it control you. Anyways did you mean hamstring curls or is this a workout I haven't heard yet? Genuinely curious.

Here are some video suggestions for you: only plyometrics workouts exercises in cold environment vs hot environment intensily stretch after a workout (Ive heard it could boost muscle growth) contract and extend your muscles quickly. Its like plyometrics + flexing ( example: quickly extend and contract your arm, so your biceps and triceps) You stretch half of your body every single day, and the other half you don't. So half tight, half flexible muscles

Hey bro after ur bulk when your strongest, you should go all out on stuff like short sprints, plyos, weighted plyos ect while maintaining strength with heavy lifts. Be sure to drop weight slowly to keep your muscle. Sorta like periodiZation, where you just left your strength/ hypertrophy phase to the reactive phasr

Also putting on weight automatically intensifies bodyweight leg workouts. Just moving around every day and the extra weight adds to your workout.

Grip strength is actually directly linked to testosterone levels. Compund movements especially in legs can cause na increase in testosterone thats why you may feel more powerfull on grip exercises

I'm right there with ya on legs, we're tall guys and it's hard to gain strength because of it. We don't have the leverage like shorter lifters do. I'm stuck at 135# back squat after a year in the gym.
@Ezratal

If you're doing high bar squat/trying hard to stay upright, you should try lowbar/accepting some torso tilt. If you're doing the latter try the former.

Slow is the way to go, the worst thing is bulking too fast and having to cut before you realize the potential of the bulk. Your body is still likely in a good state to build muscle given the high caloric intake.

May I suggest to soak your oat overnight like you do for your nuts to remove the phytic acid (anti-nutrient) from the oat. Cover with water with a good pinch of salt and some lemon juice (1/2-1 lemon). Soak overnight then drain in a colander (you can rinse if you like, optional), then use as you would regular dry oat. That is how I pre-prepare my oatmeal too.

Have you used half and half or heavy cream in recipes or meals where milk is called for? That could add to your weight on the scale, possibly (unless you're lactose intolerant, which is a bummer in and of itself).
