Bakugo is Midoriya's childhood friend so I think thats why he holds a certain place in Midoriya's life that none of his other friends can reach. When Bakugo is in trouble or gets hurt there's no denying that Izuku loses control of his emotions and gets extremely upset, so Shigaraki / All for one saw that and of course decided to exploit it.

He also has the Search quirk that allows him to see a lot of data about his opponents, including their strengths and weaknesses. AFO is the type of guy to plan these kinds of things out. He didn’t just target Bakugo for shits and giggles🙄

Bakugo is his close friend and only classmate even there, so he's literally right there on a silver platter. lol

The All might he saw had nothing to do with OFA it was his final monologue/life flash before his eyes type moment as his heart literally exploded which is why there’s heartbeats as the scene was happening and why there was an explosion as he died.

eh, perhaps, however that scene could be a reference to one of the movies (can't recall which one atm) where Bakugo briefly has OFA. Could be that a small ember of that power is still within him and perhaps that's why Bakugo could see the All-Might vestige. Regardless if that's true or not, still a great scene.

@@blckgrd if u haven’t read the manga I get why it could be seen as that but it has nothing to do with the movies is literally just a life flash before his eyes moment which is why he see’s moments of his childhood, his time at UA and why he remembers the day Midoriya tried saving him and how much he wanted an autograph from all might but was too prideful and came off as an asshole.

@@whyarewestillhere4781 it’s bc the past OFA user looks like bakugo and it pissed of the OFA side that’s living in Shigaraki since he was just as persistent and unshakable as Bakugo was in that moment making him panic, which the 2nd OFA user did to AFO in there fight as well. Bakugo’s life was just flashing before his eyes that’s why he saw all might.

Mirio causing Tenko to resurface momentarily was nice. Tamaki's Max power laser COMBINED with a bunch of other animals and Nejire's energy doing less damage than Bakugo's explosion from last episode is kinda wild. ShigAFO kept trying to downplay Bakugo's accomplishments. But Bakugo is the one who burned off nearly half of his face. Bakugo is the one who put the most damage on him. And for just a moment, Bakugo was faster than ShigAFO could perceive. The definition of speed blitzed. Bakugo knew that he was being targeted specifically to hurt Deku. That the other heroes would try and fail to protect him and end up not surviving. So he walked towards certain doom on his own. With his entire body overflowing with pain. Just like Izuku. Analyzing the enemy and mumbling to himself. Just like Izuku. Rushing forward no matter what might happen to his body. Just like Izuku. Last episode Bakugo remembered Izuku saying that Bakugo was himself because he'd never say that he'd rather lose. And so Bakugo thinks to himself in this episode that he has to win. Despite not having OFA, something about Bakugo began to make AFO flustered. Something about Bakugo reminded him of something he'd faced before in the past when he still had his face. And so he struck Bakugo with everything he had. Bakugo landed near his All Might card that he'd kept since childhood with Izuku. In those final moments, Bakugo regretted not asking for an autograph. As the light above faded to rain.

​@meechriney I think what he meant is that bakugo left the main body scarred while also destroying part of the fingers in the way. Meanwhile, tamaki did destroy all those fingers but somehow it didn't even scratch the main body. The only visible damage was the one caused by bakugo's previous attack

@@gemslion2966 I think we should take into consideration how INSANELY DETAILED, Horikoshi's art is, how each single panel is filled with such insane detail, something which I think could mostly only be achieved by the single panel, when you put the anime into perspective and compare moving frames, I feel they wouldn't be able to properly animate such detail, I for one am happy on how they adapt it because it's most certainly not the worst, take a look at Beserk and recent Seven Deadly Sins episodes 🤷‍♂️

@@viseanmarshall303 Nah I agree Horikoshis art is insanely good, it's just that a manga cannot match up to a good anime adaptation imo. Voice acting, music, choreography, movement etc just don't exist in pages on paper, so unless the adaptation is bad or hard to produce in the first place.

@@viseanmarshall303 It took studio bones this season to actually start adapting it decently good. And it's not necessarily about animation for me. It's more so how studio bones manage the anime. It's apparent that their best animators and resources don't go to the show, even though the majority of their companies' profit come from it. Instead of putting most of the budget into the show, they would rather split the budget up between the anime and its movies so they can get a quick buck. This leads to mediocre animation and bad adaptation. The anime could have been way better and directed better if they weren't giving most of the budget to the movies. Look up who yutaka nakamura is. He is one of japans best animators and he is signed to studio bones. His animation credits show that he rarely works on the anime, i think the last thing he worked on last season was the opening. Studio bones save him for all the movies, he has done work on almost every major fight in the movies including that beautiful 10/10 scene from when deku and afo bakugou fought nine. Also to add, there is no problem with working on movies, but most studios would work on their movie project off season so they won't take time and resources from the show. Studio bones didn't even have the decency to do that, they chose to work on the movie while doing the animation for the seasons, which is bizarre to me. And they didn't do this once, they did it for almost every season since season 2. And what's worst is most of these movies aren't even canon. They are trash. I would watch them once then never watch it again, whereas the anime could have been beautifully polished and people would remember the show even better for that.

Bro became my favourite character in mha after he pulled that attack and he finally understand midoriya. Everything was perfect animation, emotion's, music. What a character development.

The weird thing about Bakugo's explosions in the previous war, was his new cluster move that in this episode they expanded the side effects. The first time we saw Nejire she also ask everyone on class 1-A about their quirks, she is just too curious.

Yeah. And Horikoshi has made the movies canon retroactively, for example Deku using those gloves that can sustain his power from the first movie in his vigilante costume. No idea if that makes sense or is just my headcanon, but the way Bakugos eye has this kinda twinkling star shape is exactly how it looked when he had One For All in that movie, so All Might appearing in him and the way his power surged there could have been him tapping into the embers

While Bakugo briefly gained access to a quirk resembling OFA in the movie, it wasn't a permanent development and isn't considered part of his core abilities in the main canon.
