As a future teacher, hearing the stories of your teachers not showing you grace is SO UPSETTING. Nobody especially a student should be treated like that. I'm so glad you got out of that situation because of all of that seemed toxic. Every video I watch of yours, I learn more and more about your strength and grace! I love watching your videos because I relate heavily to everything you talk about from experiences to luck, to whatever.

wow your sophomore year....that is literally the most annoying thing I can imagine being in a class. That is so unfair, how could the teacher AND principal both completely disregard you like that and lmao proof would've been your regularly better grades...ik at my school teachers would be suspicious of the person who usually DOESNT do well if someone brought up the topic of cheating...wow. i really feel for you. Those adults don't deserve to work in education.

Your story breaks my heart. It reminds me so much of my school years so I know how awful it would have been. Hey girl! How frustrating that your teachers/principal didn’t support you, it’s so disheartening. I went through a similar situation in high school, in English class. We were practicing speeches for an upcoming assignment and everyone had to take turns presenting their draft, so the teacher could give us feedback before our final graded presentation. During the practices, I noticed that a friend of mine (at the time) and another girl in the class, had almost identical speeches. It was definitely bizarre and a few people picked up on it. My “friend” convinced my friend group that this other girl had somehow gotten ahold of her speech and had copied it. For some reason I didn’t quiet believe her and once school had finished for the day, I googled some of the specific sentences I remembered both girls saying. Shockingly, a speech popped up online from a televised interview and when I read through the transcript, it was very very apparent that both girls had copied huge sections from this person’s interview. I told my parents, as I was 16 at the time (I’m 22 now), and I asked for their help and input, on how to approach this issue. My parents gave me their full support and said that I really should tell the English teacher, but I should send in an anonymously email, so I’m not involving myself unnecessarily. So my parents helped me type up the email, attach the online transcript (we even went to the effort of highlight key phrases I remembered both girls explicitly saying) and sent it to the teacher from my parents’ email address. The only reply we got was a short “thank you for your concern, I will look into this matter further”. So there I was feeling like I’d done the right thing, but boy would you be wrong!! The next English class I had, the teacher asked me to wait behind after class, so he could speak to me. He told me straight away that he knew the anonymous email had come from me. He said he looked into my “cheating accusation” and neither of the girls were copying this other person’s televised interview. He also told me that I shouldn’t be so involved in other students’ work, and I should rather be spending more time focusing on my own grade in his class. I was literally dumbfounded and I didn’t even know what to say, I just stood there with tears welling in my eyes. To top off the unpleasantness, he finished off by saying that accusing other students of cheating is “disgusting behaviour” and he doesn’t like dramatic, trouble makers in his class. He made me feel so small and made me feel like a liar. I was so embarrassed to tell me parents the outcome and when I finally did, they were so upset that they wanted to call the school and complain but I begged them not too. I was already so hurt and I didn’t want to give the English teacher another reason to hate me, especially when I had to be in his class for the rest of the year 🙁

THIS is why people who go into work with children and teens are SO IMPORTANT!!! You have to have a love or connection for this. SO many teachers have to care for their students at all and it’s heart wrenching. It makes those teachers who are amazing and change your life so much more amazing and you are thankful for those. I am so sorry this happened to you

my friend group was pretty solid start of this year, but they've all changed sm, the girls are boy obsessed, popularity obsessed and just plain toxic and rude. i told some of my closer friends we should distance with the specific individuals and they agreed w me. then quarantine happened. they continued meeting up despite social distancing rules which isn't any of my business and my parents didnt let me because of corona. in person the girls are really close w me but i'm never invited to hang with them or anything unless I make the plans and if i confront them about it they're like "omg girl im so sorry i didnt make the plans!" and then tell me how we're all besties and they love me. some are SO sweet and kind and i know they love me but at the same time I want new friends but its difficult like we're in all the same classes.

Your story of losing your friend is SO parallel to my cousin passing that it's almost scary. When he was a sophomore he was in terrible car accident with three of his friends right before Thanksgiving break. Three of them passed and one survived and my cousin's funeral was on a sunday a week after the accident...I'm almost wondering if you knew my cousin now. I'm pretty sure you're younger than he was and I know you live in Alabama now, but the story is so similar that I have to ask... did you go to Douglas in Parkland, FL by any chance? I'm almost positive you didn't but my goodness the stories are so similar. Regardless, I know how hard it is to lose someone you're close to and I'm so sorry you went through that. 💕💕

I was kind of like okay... at the time but it made me feel bad because he clearly was embarrassed of me for some reason. He didn't introduce me to his mom, only his dad, and he always flaked out on stuff. We had so much wierd stuff go down, it was horrible. I am a veryyyy open person, so the fact that he didn't really bring me around his family or anything irritated me.

I've been in high school for 5 years. because I was in a Special Needs classroom as a special needs student who have Autism. There's students with disability's that couldn't graduate. As for me, I have 2 Disability's I been in school for 5 years instead of being in 4 years normally in my state. nothing bad happen when I was there but just a couple of stuff happens. I'm sorry for your loss of your classmate or friend, same with me because one of my Long time friends who passed away when we made it to freshman year. time was tuff sometimes. fast forward to 2017, I was a Senior and went to 2018, I had to stay for one more year, So I did and just no big deal. in 2018 I was a Senior Again or aka a Second year of being a Senior. There's normal students that been there for 4 years normally but then me I been there for 5 years and the students with special needs or disability's been there for I Don't know how long. So anyway, in 2019 I graduated at the age of 19 Turning 20, which was the last part as a teenager. Now I'm 23 Years old. everything was good when I was in my teen years. I was watching stuff like old cartoons and do some other stuff. by the way, I'm sorry you have to go through a lot of stuff. I'm sure did a very well ;) you stay safe ;)

One of my guy friends died as well we were 15-16 at the time. We grew up close (from pre school to junior high) and at the time we lived close by. One night my friend calls my house and didn't think I would pick up as it was late. She asked to talk to my mum. His name slipped from my mums mouth and deep down I wished that he was just in a minor car accident. It wasn't... He took his own life. The day of his funeral I only had one black shirt that had small print of white daisies. One of his classmates told me off for wearing that and I got so upset that I rarely buy anything that it is not black anymore.( Now 38). His grave is next to my grandma's and till this day my mum never asks me to visit my grandma's grave cause she knows how upset I will be. My husband knows never to drive by his house when I am in the car. And till this day and for many many more I still feel like something is missing from my life... As a 38 year old married woman and a mum I cannot stress enough how much I admire you as a person.... ❤️

Lol literally that principal is ridiculous. I had something similar happen to me. In my sophomore year, I had a girl threaten me in front of tons of people because I had told her that I was feeling left out by her in cheerleading and she kept bullying me on social media and I went to the school about it and they did nothing about it. Luckily MN allows students to do college in high school so I dipped and went to a University until I graduated🤪But I got bullied more by the teachers than I did by students. I don't even think that students are the problem anymore it's teachers. I had one tell me I wasn't ever going to get into early college and purposefully gave me bad grades and ope I proved her wrong.
