😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂yes you’re absolutely right there’s no turning back from the first pair of Birkenstock’s . Like you my first pair were a pool slide . Unbelievable comfort. And washing them in the sink so easily was amazing. I feel they’ve come a long way with different more flattering styles . By the way your dress is gorgeous and looks so comfortable. Birkenstocks becoming socially acceptable is the best thing to have happened. I did the same thing as you and bought a pair of black Arizonas for pool shoes, I'm now on my 3rd proper (non rubbery plastic) pair now and they're the best walking shoes I own

I was anti- Birkenstock for years. This summer I decided to cave in and buy a pair of navy blue oiled leather ones because everyone and their mother is wearing them. Even Target has knock offs of the rubber ones. Well, let me tell you they are so friggin comfortable and actually look cute with summer dresses and now I may need the Arizona rubber ones. Slippery slope territory I'm thinking. Ruth, you look like you need a vacation from your vacation. LOL

I’ve got the black version of those Birkenstock’s because they’re sooo light. I think they look pretty stylish for city use in black and they’re really versatile. Now wouldn’t be without them.

I used to love being out and about in the sun, now I hate it with a vengeance and hide away indoors to stay out of the heat (bloody menopause caused that). I'm going to recommend the P20 sunscreen to my neice for her tribe, they're going somewhere hot in October. I don't even want to know where, the very thought has me switching the nearest fan on....Glad you enjoyed your hols 😎.

I wrecked a holiday by not reapplying or wearing enough P20. Ive never trusted it since. Definitely worth reapplying SPF and not trusting the 10 hour message, if you ask me. (Glad it worked for you, though).

@@RuthCrilly it was the adult stuff - even tho it had sparkle. V pretty but dangerously ineffective. I still feel shame at not reapplying as I would have done with any other brand.
