There are several factors Sir. An important factor is luck in fact. I could only do what I could do. It was my luck that when I graduated, the job market was good. It was my luck that I was able to find employment at a relatively inexpensive part of the country. Had I been in NYC or Bay Area, I would not have been able to save and afford such a home. It was luck that when I started investing, the stock market shot up and it was just timely that a friend influenced me into buying a home and I sold stocks when they were at near peak. So yes, hard work is very important but there is always the element of luck as well. In some cases, we have good luck in some other, we do not.

See there's a catch here, these houses are not in urban areas like Bengaluru they are located in sub-urban areas about 20 to 30 miles from the cities. Somestimes even further away, where they would travel 15 to 20mins to just get milk. But I agree with the infracture outside the house. But, if you own a villa in gated community it is pretty much taken care of.

7 crore can only buy some apartment in India...Buying a land in 7 crore in a Metro city in India is impossible. This house, if you buy as is, in Indian Metro will easily cost 100+ crore, quoting Bombay..

I hv 7 bedroom house with 3 washroom in Toronto city and with no cleaner facilities, it's killing us after 50, to clean 3 floors. Property taxes, heating bills, hydro bills, water bills $800-1000 pm will kill you if you don't hv 2 jobs.
