When you talk about how Black Sabbath/Tommi Iommi inspired you, I feel the same as you like Angra to me. The moment you pull out that 27th frets Jackson I was like BRUH.. And looking at my 27th frets LTD hanging on the wall. That hits me right in the feels. I wish I can re-experience the first time I listen to Nova Era. This video is really inspiring.

I love Kiko his energetic personality, playing, KZbin and yes he’s amazing. Yet you can’t so easily dismiss Marty who wrote alot of the early solos which Kiko is now playing.

@@johnmarano6588 Kiko has the technical ability, and cleanliness i playing. Marty's soul is really hard to beat though, and his improvisational modulation is maybe the best of all time. Better guitarist though, hard to say, Kiko is a technical master.

@@mablesfatalfable6021 more influential; because marty got to play during Dave's writing prime. If the roles were reversed Kiko would be hailed the way Marty is. Im sure Kiko would come up with equally badass shit if he was in that early Megadeth creative prime.

Kiko, you said once that you admire Buckethead's work when I asked your opinion about him in the comments some time ago. Do you think that would be possible to play with him someday, maybe write a song or something? He produces very melodic pieces, just like you. A collab would be AWESOME!

Definitely should do a Kiko 200 with that finish and a 7 string version. But also I'd love to see you a 27 fret version with one of your sigs like the ESP's and Tagima's! Please! That Kiko 100 GreyBurst finish is sick too!

It's so funny, my mom was born in Naples Italy, but they moved to San Paolo for 15 years, before coming to the Bronx. I didn't realize San Paolo had such a large Italian population until recently, and then you mention it.

Kiko is in my opinion the most complete guitar player out there. He has done it all: latin Jazz, thrash metal, instrumental rock, electronic music, power metal. I wouldn't be surprised if he ended up doing some gigs with an orchestra.

I love the Kiko 100 best, but do love the AZ model or whatever it is woth the marron burst and block inlays. Every SG Gibson I've played was neck heavy when standing which drives me nuts. They feel and sound great. Don't the AZs come with stainless frets? Love that. Can't have too many guitars ever! That Jackson is bad ass. How sweet. Please play that on video sometime! The LesPaul modern is killer. I used to have a Les Paul Studio Light that was chambered with a Schaller floyd rose and I loved that guitar. It was stolen. 😭 Great video Kiko. Love the square gujtar too! Very very cool video Kiko. Thanks yet again for sharing with us when I'm sure you are very busy. Hope you and your family are well kind sir!

Love the "Stanley Jordan" setup guitar. I hope you make a video showing us what you're doing with that guitar...your approach etc. Maybe that will spark people to go and look Stanley Jordan up and see how amazing he is...if they don't already know. The Godfather of that technique.

I was looking for a song I would hear in your videos, I played Open Source and didn't look at the titles of the songs, I just played it from the beginning. If I looked at the song titles I would've known that the song I was looking for was called Dreamlike, because the sound and the whole vibe of it really is DREAMLIKE! 😍 It's become one of my favourite songs, together with Sertão. ❤️

I spent my entire employed-guitar-playing years playing signature models, one after the next and then I finally got something that fits me and I’m having the best time in years exploring my instrument :) I really appreciating you sharing your professional perspective like this, and even teaching too. What better ways to learn about your guitar heroes equipments and techniques directly from them. We came from the ages of no KZbin and incorrect music books! I value the hell out of musicians like this.

Love all your guitars but I'm not a fan of "satin finish" in a general way. If I had a partnership with Ibanez, my preferred one would be a 7 string model, with sunburst finish (like your 1st one in the video) and evertune bridge. Reverse headstock would be a great option too !!! Thank you Kiko, hope we'll see more videos from you, you are a true source of inspiration. Cheers from France !!

Fine collection! Kiko 200 sunburst very nice! Yes love the AZ prototype excellent choice! Gibson SG definitely a keeper, I love Les Paul guitars, as well as the telecaster( ironically have the same one) my brother bought me the Ibanez 6 string GRG series aquaburst, ( cheaper model...) absolutely no complaints at all! For 250.00!! Highly recommend for folks on a budget! My brother definitely ate crow for supper that evening! 😋 beautiful acoustic selection. My 1st acoustic guitar Fender, it's old and my kids tell me mom just give it a proper viking funeral ( set it on fire and float it downstream at the creek..) but that's not happening 😕 I have a question for anybody here that's an advanced high level player: WHY ARE ACOUSTIC ELECTRIC GUITARS SO EXPENSIVE??? Especially the Yamaha ones??? Even used!!! I always try to buy locally ( I can barter and trade up/ only way I could afford the acoustic guitar I wanted!! Tearing up & crying helps...female..)🤣 however, it was still a bit pricey! Kiko have you ever considered making a line of acoustic electric guitars perhaps? Thanks for sharing 👍 🖤Kris IL ⚡ 🎸⚡💥

Hi Kiko please make more New guitars like KIKO 100 TRR model, I've been searching for a NEW RED One for 2 years! But maybe a muscle car RED like the Ibáñez JS2480 which I was about to buy but I didn't because of the lack of jumbo frets & pick up configuration HSH that I need for its versatility! That one would be the star in my 11guitar collection among Gibson, Fender, Kramer, Gretsch, Epiphone, BC Rich and of course a couple of Ibáñez! Big fan of your playing style & music! Congratulations on your achievements & awesome guitars! In fact I've seen you twice playing live with Megadeath in Tijuana Mexico 2016 & 2018. Best wishes always! Saludos desde México!!!

The AZ with koa top is beautiful as several other guitars you have. I don’t think it is too many for a professional touring worldwide like you are. Changing guitars can refresh the mind and give some inspiration. I believe that if many of them are tools to work with, the classical one you show us at the end means possibly something different to you, as it is not scratched up and beaten up yet… ah ah ! It is a pleasure to watch your videos. Take care and I wish you all the best for the coming year.
