That is one of Henry Fisker's best works. I was impressed that Volvo was able to pull-off a 4-spook design configuration with the rims of their electric Car Polstar, and it looked good. But then Fisker went even further, and pulled-off a 3-spook configuration design with the rims of the new Ocean SUV, and it also looked good, which I thought was impossible. The Ocean's rims look like 3-bladed fans. The standard in Car design is no less than 5 spooks on the rims.

It has a completely professional, calculated and integrated design. This is exactly the opposite of the feeling that the BMW ix design evokes in my mind, as if in BMW and the design is not finished yet and each part of the car is designed separately or by different people

Fisker knows how to design cars. I actually disagree with you on the Fisker Karma though. The original one looks better to me than the face-lifted version, especially if you consider that the original one came out in 2011/2012.

I've noticed; the tyres stick out beyond the arch lines. That means the track is wider than the body which means that hitting the smallest bump and those 22 inch wheels will collide with the body, defeating the point of the crossover / SUV typology.

Design wise it looks great, another good example of clean lines, my issue is just the oversized grill with blank hexagons, visually good looking and adds weight balance but it’s just meh. I think the Ocean can be a good rally car for the future, it already has that stance.

i'd like to provide some constructive criticism for your videos. I've noticed you've put a lot more edits and a lot more b-roll of the cars you're talking about than you used to, this looks fancy and professional but i think it takes away from the point you're trying to make in the videos. the actual content of the video, which is you sketching on an image of the car to illustrate the point you're making about the design, is only on screen for what feels like a fraction of a second and there's no time for me to take in and observe what you're explaining because it cuts away to some promotional footage of the car that seems irrelevant to what you're talking about. this makes it hard to follow what you're saying.

I wish he didn't change the old cyberpunkish lighted buttong and lighted seat and didn't change the wheel design to three triangles (unless those are trims for the US$70,000 one). I think the Ocean looks blinking brilliant. I’d call it more a station wagon with an under floor battery than an SUV. It’s stance and width makes me think it’s going to handle like its on rails too. Which ever away it’s a serious step up from other EVs on the market including Tesla.

no rear update is ok b/c it still look good especially if done with changign size light pieces according to context of perportions. mercdes stardust style also a not as smooth but still decent. new front end is worse lol that side parts ok but its fugly, same with healdights on both. maserati quattraporte is better looks everywhere, fisker is only good for the grille and interioir transparent materials givign some 3d dept to 2d surface and corresponding light with switch activation integrated into 3d apperance 10:45 align headlight with that line on the hood

Sounds like I'll be trading my Tesla in for the Ultra version. My concern is how is the MPGe. Any car can get 300mile range but how efficient is it is the question of the day? Tesla's MPGe is bar none the best on the market, the reason I went tesla... and not for the brand. Remember when Porsche Claimed high MPGe numbers and failed miserably with their Taycan? Yes, we still laughing.

Big reason Tesla is the MPGe king is the sketchy way they estimate their cars. Model Y vs. Mach is supposed to be a huge mileage difference per their EPA estimates but in testing they've said the Y is only gets 20 miles more.

@@JKennedy442 While manufacturers do part of the testing, they don´t decide the EPA range. That´s why we have EPA to verify the standard testing, same for every brand. The range isn´t usually same in the real world but there is nothing sketchy about it. Unless you expect EPA to favour Tesla, which is unlikely.

The grill and style of the karma front end are what attracts others. Its what defines a fisker in the road. Implement that and the suv itll sell out in 2023. Remember when Cadillac had that? Not since 96. Cookie cutter cars dont attract real car enthusiasts.

I think the Ocean is attractive, but busy at points (the rear panels opposite the passenger door windows feel over designed) and it's a bit of a bummer that Fisker is following Tesla's formula as far as dashboards go (a massive touchscreen and spartan, characterless dashboards. I get that the touchscreen provides the information that gauges and other displays do in traditional cars, but I think a huge iPad replacing gauges is pretty unimaginative and boring). I also wonder about the reliability and warranty of the Ocean, two things I have heard nothing about. Bembli mentions build quality and that's valid though from what I've heard the build quality of Tesla's isn't anything to write home about, though he neglected to mention that, implying that that's either not the case or he doesn't believe it to be the case. And I get that the review wasn't of a Tesla, though don't hold it up as a quality benchmark by implication.

There’s one reason I won’t get it - cargo space. Even the Chevy Bolt has more cargo space than the Ocean. Rear seats down, Ocean 45 sq., Bolt 60 sq. ft.! For 50 grand it’d better be bigger than a $32k Bolt, which also throws in free home Level 2 charging installation worth $2 grand. When Henrick squeezed into the back seat he could barely move and his head almost hit the ceiling. The Ocean is a very nice design, but honestly there’s nothing unique about it at all except the swiveling dash screen, and to be honest how many times are you going to flip that thing around? Once? Twice? It’s a novelty to show your friends. There is no true innovation at all with this vehicle. The roof opens, that’s been around forever. Varying 2 or or 4WD? Ditto, been around since the 60’s. If you want to spend $70K you can get the window rear window to fold down (like my Dad’s old 1968 Ford Country Squire station wagon) to make up for the lack of cargo space, to carry a surf board. There are vehicles coming up right now that will allow your vehicle to be a Wallet that can be used in drive-through’s or in other scenarios. There’s one vehicle launching that was actually mine cryptocurrency while sitting idle, powered by the sunroof. Then you have vehicle to load and so on.
