I came across your vlog before i went to hk for the first time in 2016. I am back again because your vlog popped up in recommendations. I have to say this is one of the best vlogs I've seen: crisp footage, no drag no rubbish, narration and opinions, and revealing the names of the places you went to. It's a pity you're not making vlogs again...

I stayed in Hong Kong last March for a full month and loved every minute! Everything is expensive accept for the transport which is very cheap. Amazing place and I can't wait to return, especially Kowloon. Thanks for sharing :)

+Ryan Darcy Wow, a whole month! That sounds like great fun! I would love to go back someday, but not in the foreseeable future haha. Cheers!

Im going this March too! How is the weather in march usually?
@Paul.in.Ireland8 жыл бұрын
+Alice Momsen The weather in March is unpredictable but it will be warm and sometimes very warm, the problem is the pollution that spreads from near by China that blocks the sun and it can be hazy, but I promise you will have an amazing time no matter how the weather is! Enjoy your trip and make sure to visit Stanley Bay and the famous Stanley Markets... Great day out away from the hustle and bustle of central Hong Kong 😊

+Ryan Darcy HI Ryan, I heard a lot about Hong Kong, especially the attitude about the people there (that they have shi**y attitude). Did you experience any of it? If so, any hacks I can use to deal with that, becos ill be going to HK this late March. Cheers((:
@Paul.in.Ireland8 жыл бұрын
Hi, I personally didn't find any problems with any of the locals, everyone I came in contact with were very nice and approachable. My advice would be just smile and be pleasant and I'm sure you will find everybody's attitude nice. Hope you have a fantastic time in Hong Kong :)

Use Google Maps to navigate directions, use Open Rice to find local restaurants, buy an Octopus card (upon arrival in the airport) to pay for all transportation & buy stuffs from local convenience stores, buy a local SIM card with data to use your apps on your phone (Get the SIM from a local CSL store, or other mobile stores). Maybe there are still a few more items, but this will let you last a couple of days in Hong Kong.

Hi, great to hear you guys enjoy HK, may i suggest next time you come back be sure to visit Repulse Bay and Stanley, wonderful sea shore located at the south of the island, just get on a double deck bus at central station and will bring you there. Also try get on a train at TST station and tour around the New Territories, you will see great scene & i m sure you won't regret it !

+KC T I've been to Repulse Bay before! I liked the atmosphere there, but I don't think I'd go there again. For me, the thing I love about HK is the busy streets where there's something happening all the time. So, I think I'd rather stick to that haha!

The big Chinese temple is tian tan Buddha of hk .And the Hong Kong famous food is hotpot and other food 😂. Not only dim sum and noodles. And there are many different type of mountain in Hong Kong . And the theme park is ocean park and Disneyland. Next time u can travel Hong Kong and Shenzhen . If u want to drink , go to Lan Kwai Fong in Central . I am from Hong Kong .

great video trip report. enjoyed it. gotta try that noodle one day. although the long line of waiting would really people by the time they get a table :)

I am quite disappointed with most of the blogs about Hong Kong. Where can one find cheap and safe accommodation and how much does it cost per night (Hong Kong currency). Where can one find good food and the cost of each bowl of noodle and food sold are not featured. These informations are vital and very informative to people who wish to travel there.
@Christine-hd5bc5 жыл бұрын
Most blogs do not state the actual currency. For instance, this room cost 350 dollars. This food is good , but how much? Very cheap. Is it in US or HK$. It makes a lot of difference to a tourist. Not informative enough.

方铭你他妈的去死 & lili feng No they're not. Taiwan is way richer country than China. The land is so fertile grows so many corps, not like desert China. And if Taiwan is poor as fuck as you said, why do you want a 'poor as fuck country'? Where do you get that lies from? You've been lied to by your communist China government, that made believe that you're a rich, while you're not. Similar like North Korea.
