Hello Charles. Sorry for the plumbing issues. What is needed is to use PPR pipes because you would be using pressure pump. The PPR pipes are much expensive, so be prepare.
@CharlesOtti7 ай бұрын
Thank you for your suggestion. Using PPR pipes sounds like a wise choice, especially considering the use of a pressure pump. I'll definitely look into it, even though they are more expensive. It's important to prioritize quality to avoid future issues. Thanks for your advice!

Keep it up brother. I'm learning a lot. Although I'm a little worried because I'm at the stage where all pipes have been done and currently plastering. I'm just hoping quality materials were used by my plumber, even though I kept demanding for quality. Thanks for staying positive.

Thank you for your support and encouragement, I'm glad you're learning a lot from the videos. It's understandable to be concerned about the quality of materials, especially at this stage of your project. It's good that you kept demanding for quality from your plumber. Perhaps, you could consider having an expert inspect the work to ease your worries. Stay positive and proactive, and I'm sure everything will turn out well.

I really enjoyed ur videos, in respect of the leakages, I feel you should take a look at the pressure machine, I believe it's the primary issue of the leakage, the pressure maybe too much for the pipes, as long as the pressure machine is there you'll definitely have leaks occasionally in your house. These leaks where not there before the pressure machine was installed. So think about it
@CharlesOtti7 ай бұрын
Thank you for your kind words and for your insight regarding the pressure machine. It's possible that the pressure is too much for the pipes, leading to the leakages. I'll definitely look into adjusting the pressure or potentially using a less powerful machine to prevent future issues. Your input is greatly appreciated!

True but with good quality pipes and glue all can be corrected because with the pressure pump and cheap pipes dont flow together

I experienced the same issue when building my house in Nigeria. As an engineer, I asked for the properties of the pipe which nobody could provide. I ended up bringing samples to the US for tests and was able to specify the type of booster pumps to use in the plumbing system. That is one problem with these artisans in Nigeria - none of them uses empirical data in designing their systems. It is based on, “this is how my master did it”.

It's really sad to see you go through all these. We can't even tell how much damage there is, left in there. But I hope and pray these problems are solved once and for all. The good thing about mine was, I worked in construction field (Environmental and Sustainability Specialist), so, I have a good idea. While my building was ongoing I supervised it virtually myself, I sought for the suppliers, then send someone down to collect, and another person to inspect. The only instance wherr I had problems was the foundation, the initial engineer didn't follow the drawing, which I detected myself through video call. I brought in another guy specifically for the foundation, and it was food. So far, it's been over a year, and everything seems to be working fine.

I appreciate your empathy and prayers. It's been a challenging journey, but I'm hopeful that these problems will be resolved once and for all. It's great to hear about your experience and how you managed your project effectively, especially with your background in the construction field. Supervising virtually and being proactive with suppliers and inspections definitely paid off for you. I'm glad everything seems to be working fine with your project now. Thank you for sharing your story!

Sorry bro... plumbing is a very delicate matter hopefully will be resolved soon. Im still very encouraged by your videos. Perhaps Nigerians should embrace running pipes through easy to reach vents. You have come a very long way and this is an admirable feat.

Thank you for your kind words and understanding, Plumbing can indeed be challenging, but I'm confident it will be resolved soon. I appreciate your encouragement. Running pipes through easy-to-reach vents is a great suggestion for future projects, as it can make maintenance and repairs much easier. Your support means a lot, and I'm grateful for your positive feedback!

I'm a bit worried now from what I've seen on your video concerning plumbing. I'll have to put a stop to all other works until the water runs in the pipes without leakage. Sorry about the setbacks ...
@CharlesOtti7 ай бұрын
I understand your concern, and it's wise to prioritize fixing the plumbing before proceeding with other works. Ensuring that the water runs through the pipes without leakage is crucial for the overall success of your project. I appreciate your understanding, and I'm confident that with careful attention to the plumbing, you'll be able to avoid any major issues down the line. Best of luck with your project.

That’s why most people prefer using artisans from Togo.
@CharlesOtti7 ай бұрын
I understand that using artisans from Togo may seem like a more reliable option for some. However, I believe in supporting local talent and giving them the opportunity to showcase their skills. It's all about finding the right team and ensuring they have the necessary expertise to deliver quality work. Thank you for your comment!

No more interior or exterior work (paint, pop, etc.) until all your plumbing issues are resolved. The plumbing should be your #1 priority untill it is resolved. If you had quality pipes, i would say that the pressure pump is too high, but it appears the issue you're having is the pipes. But, if the water pressure is more than sufficient, try a less powerful pump.
@CharlesOtti7 ай бұрын
Thank you for your advice and understanding. I agree that resolving the plumbing issues should be the top priority before moving forward with any other work. It seems like the pipes may be the root cause of the problem. If the water pressure is more than sufficient, trying a less powerful pump could help alleviate the issue. I'll definitely take your suggestions into consideration and ensure that the plumbing is properly addressed before proceeding with any other work. Thanks again for your support!

Sorry about the setback bro, this happened to me on my first project. The builder i gave the job to was hardly at the site to supervise his team they messed me up big time , especially the plumbing. As of the time i moved in, we were still breaking the walls to fix plumbing issues. It's obvious they used low quality pipes for you, but what caused the major leakage you're handling at the moment is the pressure pump installed. The pipes can't handle the pressure. How can one do this crap job and expect referrals?
@CharlesOtti7 ай бұрын
Thank you for sharing your experience, It's really unfortunate when builders don't supervise their teams properly, leading to major issues like the ones you faced. It's frustrating to deal with low-quality work and materials, especially when it affects something as crucial as plumbing. I agree, using a pressure pump with pipes that can't handle the pressure is a recipe for disaster. It's important for builders to prioritize quality to earn referrals and maintain their reputation. I hope your current project is going smoothly now. Stay strong!

This is just unnecessary expenses down the drain- no pun intended. Sorry to hear this my brother. The so-called engineers are nothing but glorified technicians- nothing against technicians. I had to spray paint my high pressure pipes when I purchased mine for a project. They taught I was crazy at the time. When the pipes arrived, I used my penlight with special UV light to authenticate. Homie don’t play 😂
@CharlesOtti7 ай бұрын
I couldn't agree more! It's frustrating to deal with unnecessary expenses, especially when it's due to the negligence of supposed professionals. Your approach to authenticate the high-pressure pipes shows your commitment to quality and thoroughness. It's always better to be safe than sorry! Thanks for sharing your experience, it's definitely helpful to learn from others in the field.
