*Thank you Houzz TV* for showing why _designers_ exist. They are NOT glorified shoppers having fun with someone else's money. They understand many things about interiors in order to create bespoke interiors for varied clients: lifestyles, color theory, scale and lighting, not to mention the array of resources (brands and craftsmen, unless they work for you) that designers need to be aware of and have on their speed dial.

I live in Viera Florida, a suburb of Melbourne. I heard Kate was from this area. I didn’t know she had such a gracious personality and a beautiful family. Kudos to the renovation and sisterhood. A real family that truly love each other. Truly.

I love these makeovers! But why oh why does 'demo' mean total destruction of otherwise re-usable building components? Why not remove and re-use? Keep it out of the landfill and make it available for others to use.

Never thought I'd become addicted to one of these shows. When I finally get back to America, I'm using Houzz to do my family's place. At first I thought these episodes were just one big advertisement; now, I'm sure that they are much more than that. At the very least, if they were only advertisements, at least they have an exceptional product and I walk into the process knowing that I'll get something absolutely fantastic. Here, Houzz, take my money! LOL

Not a big fan of wallpaper, but it did turn out pretty nice. As a guy, I just DON’T get all the pillows on the bed. Kate Upton did an amazing and awesome thing for her well deserved sister for all the amazing things she does for all the veterans. Wow, it turned out so nice! Love it! However, I think they may have to raise those chandeliers so the husband can actually use the mirrors, LoL . Also, I would like to add that it would be great if these renovations could start saving things for habitat and others that really need them... sings, cabinets, doors, toilets, tubs, appliances, etc. With all that being said, it is a really sweet family and a beautiful renovation, cute pets, and congratulations on the new baby coming. Tyfs!

Another beautiful renovation! I loved everything, but I couldn't help thinking she's going to want a comfy chair with arms to nurse her baby in, instead of the chaise lounge. I made the mistake of buying a rocking chair without arms when I was a new mom, it was so uncomfortable.
