Love this idea! Avocado makes smoothies so creamy and you really can't taste it. It's amazing combined with chocolate! Neat tip for friends wanting smoothies: freeze your own avocados 🥑👌 cut into quarters, remove seed and skin (use a spoon to remove each avocado quarter from its piece of skin) freeze on a small sheet pan separately for 1+hrs, then you can bag them all together. Frozen Avo means no ice needed that will water down your smoothie and take up valuable space! (Also you can freeze your nut milk in ice cube trays, therefore your liquid base is also your "ice")

I use protein powder and cacao (and yes, sometimes ghee) in my afternoon hot coffee every day and it NEVER clumps up. Why? I zap it with my stick blender before pouring it into my yeti. Stays deliciously hot, no clumping.

I’ve been eating the keto way for the better part of 5 years now. A couple years ago I started observing intermittent fasting as well. Nothing has been more effective at controlling my cravings and hunger, than going to one meal a day. All it takes is adding a tablespoon of heavy cream to my coffee outside of my eating window, and boom, here comes the hunger and cravings. Not worth it. OMAD has really been the key for me to control my appetite while in calorie restrictive mode. That is to say, if you are trying to lose weight, it’s a huge advantage. I would recommend staying away from bulletproof coffee and fat bombs if you are trying to lose weight. They don’t satiate. They only whet your appetite for more. That has been my experience anyway.

Thank you for talking about cravings. I pulled up this video specifically because of his mention of cravings; then he said NOT ONE WORD on CRAVINGS!! (today is my fasting day for praying to ✝Jesus Christ/Yeshua Ha Mashiach✝.) Since two of you said that OMAD helps you with cravings, maybe I'll try that. I assume it takes a while of OMAD to achieve maximum craving suppression; so, how long did it take to achieve hunger/craving suppression? Thanks in advance!

Can you heat protein powder coffee up after its mixed in or will it still gell
@kyokoyumi
@kyokoyumi 3 жыл бұрын
This is nice and all but I still prefer warm coffee and if you know anything about how to temper eggs, it'll work the same way if you want to use protein powder. Personally I use a room temp egg (sometimes cold but it takes a bit more time to temper it) as my protein source, whisk with a tiny bit of raw cream (or heavy cream/almond milk/whatever milk-like liquid you choose to drink), cacao powder, cinnamon, very lightly melted/softened butter (both so you don't cook your egg and so you don't solidify the butter) Once that's all well combined it should function like a sauce almost and hold together (think hollandaise) Very gently stream in your hot coffee while whisking (again to keep from cooking the egg while tempering the mixture) and once it's up to temp, just dump everything from the bowl into your coffee pot and give it a final whisk. Add salt at this stage (cause if you salt the egg too early, you denature the proteins) and then you're done :) hot protein keto coffee with a full amino acid profile plus other nutrients. Adding eggs to coffee is popular in Vietnam which uses sweetened condensed milk and just the egg yolk beaten to a foam with super strong Vietnamese drip coffee which kind of makes it like a liquid tiramisu when done. I based mine off of that and just used cream and butter instead of making condensed milk and I didn't froth it up too much. Doing it in a blender would be even faster since you won't need to worry much about tempering the egg as long as the blender is running when you pour it in (I would still mix the egg, cream and butter together first though).

I have a morning rush version of this. Instant espresso powder, a scoop of grass fed chocolate whey protein powder, little extra cacao and either monkfruit or stevia, chaga powder, cinnamon or pumpkin spice, unsweetened coconut milk ( I tend to use the canned kind but do you), ice and water to thin it out a bit. Throw it all in a cleaned out glass peanut butter jar and shake the hell out of it.

So the least corrupt countries who held their citizens hostage for the shortest amount of time had the lowest Boogey Virus rates. Of course.... because people don’t get sick from germs, they get sick from being scared and upset about something that happened in their lives. Enter the worldwide FEAR CAMPAIGN. The Germ Theory was never actually proven to be 100% accurate, yet the trillion dollar medical industry is entirely based on that theory. What's the CAUSE of death in people with this "virus"? Does their brain explode? Does their heart stop beating? The CAUSE of death is still pneumonia. Pneumonia is not something you can "catch". It's a biological result of being "scared to death" of something which is exactly what the media has done to people dumb enough to watch them. You've heard the term "Worried sick". That's because your BRAIN causes you to become sick due to the stress it is perceiving! Why do you think young kids aren't getting the Boogey Virus? Because they aren't sitting in front of the news being scared to death because they're too young to understand a Fear Campaign. These pathetic "experts" just make shit it up to explain their narrative as they go. First they tell you kids bring home every illness from school because they're not "exposed" to enough things, then they say somehow they're immune to a Boogey Virus? Does anyone have common sense?! You don't show the symptoms of "disease" until you stop being panicked and afraid. These symptoms usually show up 1-2 weeks after you've relaxed and resolved the upsetting event. There's no such thing that some diseases you can "catch", but not all. It's not that complex! If you can't "catch" cancer, diabetes, MS, arthritis, etc., from other people, then you can't "catch" colds, flu and Boogey Viruses. So governments around the world are CAUSING fear frights in everyone based on an unproven THEORY by one man, Louis Pasteur, who redacted his claim of the germ theory on his death bed, yet no one listened. So of course, when everyone is allowed to escape the hostage situation the governments have put their people into, and they start relaxing about the Boogey Virus, that's not in any way transmissible, they will begin their healing phase (get sick), and believe they then have it, and more panic will ensue as well as martial law. The longer people allow this government to hold them hostage in their homes, the more severe the "sickness" will be.

What about drinks using collagen? I’ve tried bovine collagen, and I have fish gelatin. I’m no expert but I read marine collagen digests better, and is more effective than beef collagen. Honestly I prefer marine because there’s no after taste but Im not sure if it has mercury. I like beef but feel like it causes more mucus, and also would prefer a Halal or organic clean brand. Do you have recommendations for which brands are better? I have a history of AVN (bone lose) from a chronic blood disorder called sickle cell. The collagen has been helping my shoulders which were impossible to lift over my head. Once the bone deteriorated the solution is joint replacement. I’ve had a hip replacement which hurt, and don’t want to go through it again.

The pea protein powder I use mixes with hot coffee fine - it’s from Arbonne and it does have a small amount of sugar, I use half of a serving and then add ghee.

Well yeah, since you don't want coffee, make whatever mind of shake you want. I suggest looking up "keto shake" on YT for ideas; great way to start the morning!

Hey Thomas. I know this is about cravings but I though I'd ask. If maybe out of all the ideas I know you already have for your channel. I was wondering if maybe I could suggest one more......I wanted to ask if maybe you could someday make a video on keto with individuals who have Diabetes and the difference just wondering if its good for them and if ➡️➡️ anyone seeing this who does keto and has diabetes maybe if you could comment on this and tell me how it has worked for you that would be so awesome!!!. ⬅️⬅️ I'm just currently know someone who has it and well kinda want ti encourage them. Thank you now going to resume watching your video.
