Tbh I actually like middleton’s designs, I even remember taking inspiration from his designs for my AU. Overall I agree the way you draw him not only better reflect Edward as a K2, but also reflects how old he is. Tbh no headcanon should be said as better as what Awdry layed out. I view AUs and HCs the same as I view the RWS (albeit with some bias to some AUs).

Agreed. At the end of the day, everyone is entitled to their own interpretation, but we should never try arguing that our own interpretation is more valid than anyone else. After all, none of us are the creators of this franchise, and everyone is just trying to make their own spin on the series, appreciating the official series, or taking bits and pieces they like from the official series to make their own idealized version of the series

In my AU Edward is a L&YR Barton Wright 4-4-0 (1880-1887). In my personal opinion the K2 are too young to be Edward.

Will you do customs of them? I mean you have a Trackmaster American custom on your banner and I think it looks nice You should make AU series using that custom ability!

Actually, that engine on my banner is a modified HO American engine with Tomy parts used. Whoever to answer your question, I might one day make a custom of this

Personally when I thought of making ideal Thomas videos I realized I’m just giving more backstory to the engines pre sodor rather than changing them

No. That was admittedly, an artistic oversight on my hand. I plan on addressing it in a future installment in the series.

Ah, I see you’re taking inspiration from the guy who intentionally messed up with the illustrations. Not complaining, I’m just cursed with the knowledge of him thinking it wouldn’t be successful sine it was about, in his words: “Dirty, old locomotives.” (Although I do like his livery choices.)

Regardless of his statements about locomotives, I can’t deny that there is some fascinating novelty to the designs he came up with. It’s a completely different vibe from the rest of the series. So I tried taking elements of that design in a more realistic direction
