I also saw this translator available in Lazada. It would only be beneficial if it had more Filipino dialects available. I can't set it to Filipino and hope to hear a homily in church given in kapampangan. For all those going to a local Catholic church here in the PI, the homily and most often the music liturgy is in the local dialect even when it says Mass in English. Unlike in Thailand where everything is in English when it says Mass in English. Does that mean Thailand is more English friendly 🤷‍♂? Also be advised during events such as Lent, Easter, Advent and Christmas... Mass in English is usually cancelled in the PI. Sure would be nice to find a good translator device... but not holding my breath.

Hi Mark, I downloaded an app on to my smartphone that translates other languages into English in the same way your device does, whether with words, or text. So I'm wondering what makes your translater device an improvement over my phone app translator?.

It's safer to use than waving your expensive phone around in a foreign country.

I think Google also has a translator that will allow you to take a photo of a sign in a foreign language and it will translate it. That is very handy.

@@everymanhasastory but there are 7000 dialects here. We need them all... haha. Even Tagalog and Filipino are different. Tagalog means Taga Ilog, (river dwellers) most of these people have never seen a river.
