This feels like the infatuation stage, that moment where you look at them and *realize* you like them more than a friend and loving every moment you spend around them. It would be cool for this song to have a sequel of sorts where either you confess and get in a relationship with the person you really love and are basking in that feeling, or the feeling of thinking they'll never like you back or the love being one-sided and them rejecting you.
