I was very curious of it's aroma specially at the bark way back 2016, when our guide grab this from a tree during our hike..then yesterday I went back to the place to find it..fortunately locals have shown it to me..then I began searching about this..the kalingag tree i saw yesterday was from southern part of Luzon..thank you for Sharing this!! Oh really... Yup our local variety of Kaningag is really aromatic way better that those commercially sold and the fresh barks smell like perfume po so fresh and soothing medyo minty. Salamat po 😍

This cinnamon is even biblical. Jehovah God the Father himself even mentioned this plant as one of the offerings He required to be offered to the sacred sanctuary built by the Israelites when God instructed moses at the HOLY MOUNTAIN OF HOREB. Cebu Island must have been blessed by God since time immemorial through the presence of this plant. God bless Cebu and continue to prosper in God's grace.

Naa jud actually dghn kaau.. Long bfor the Spanish conquestadores came halos puno pa atong kalasangan with our native varieties of cinnamon then they came along and discover it's good quality.. Good enough to make into gallons maong nahurot intawn 😏salamat for watching lods
