Hi Len. Thank you for the great video. You have a calm clarity about you that is rare. It seems to be of God. I'm sorry about your wife. Ive been grieving the loss of my cat Allie. She passed away last month after 15.5 years of being my best friend. It's amazing how deep the grief of losing a pet can be, I cant even imagine what it must be like for you. @@lenandcindypresley....4830 Had to buy another car last week. My daughter's car turned in for salvage. I bought a new 2023 silver metallic Toyota Corolla and put in my name and daughter's name. Pretty much will be hers and she is paying insurance on it. Used a small sum of life ins.from husband to get. I have an older Toyora Camry. I was looking for a used Corolla that was pre-certified, but the new corolla about same price. Isn't that crazy? Then light switch went out in our bathroom. A younger teacher friend of mine father and an electrician friend of his fixed this morning. So kind of them! I miss my husband so much and guess always will. God Bless You! 🌻🌻🌻🐈

I am Widowed 5 1/2 years. I had Complicated Grief the first 3 years after my husband passed. We were married 25 years. My Anniversary and Mother's Day fell on the same day, May 14,2023 this year. My Mom died when I was 23 in front of me at home from a brain aneurysm.And my husband died in 2017.I have 3 adult children but the day was very difficult. Thankfully, all of us Believers in Jesus blood atonement for sin have the "Blessed Hope" to be reunited with all our family members who were also "In Christ at physical death." I believe we are VERY CLOSE to the "Harpazo, Catching Away" of Believers. Thank you, Len for posting these videos.

Hi Len Jan (Chet's mom): I've been thinking (maybe too much thinking) about how I didn't do enough for my husband. Also, my mother (died 2018). I took too many things for granted- thinking we'd be together for many more years. 46 yrs just wasn't enough time. I know a lot of husbands & wives had much less yrs together. But, that doesn't help. I get up almost every morning thinking - "here's another day without my sweet Tom". I think about U & Ana Sue C a lot. Same for me - I do household stuff whenever I feel like it. Some things get done, but other things just stagnate until I'm forced to do them. I'm grateful for my son who lives with me. But, my Tom was (is) my life & missing him is more than I can bear @ times. I'm hanging in there with U, Len. I too worry about Ana C. 🙏 Thx a million ❤

Hi Len. At the 17 month mark since I lost my wife/life. This 2nd. year the grief edges have been rounded off some. Still trying to figure out my "new" life. It is going to take alot more time for me. Im trying very hard. I hope and pray all of you are being kind to yourselves as you try to find peace and purpose. I seek counceling and regularly attend a spousal loss support group. It has helped but there is no magical formula just One Day At A Time. All the WHYS have no answer this side of eternity. God knows how much we miss our loved ones and will reunite us when our time comes....the well researched book: "Imagine Heaven" by John Burke was mentioned by you Len in a previous video. I read it within the first 3 months of my loss(I was very num) so i'm re reading it again now. Its about NDEs and it helped. Keep up the outreach as we all need it and are listening....my best from your CNY friend John

I have good days ,mostly anyway. 1 year and 3 months today. It seems so distant now,yet the longing to be with her has never once vacated my thoughts. Thanks for your prayers and support, Filly Hart. I'm going to doctors Soon, to check for lyme disease. I've been bitten 2 times in 2 weeks. I'm starting to feel very uncomfortable and tired all day. I might have been affected by the tick bites or maybe just my on going grief. I hope you don't have ticks where you are. They are really bad here now. Missing my dear wife ever more as the weeks go by. God will see us through. This walk thru grief isn't a permanent one. It will end ,soon maybe. Then comes the joy we hope and long for. Hi Len, Good to see you. Yes, Memorial Day weekend & the unofficial start of summer. My husband and I loved walking along the ocean shoreline in the summer. Sunrises at the shore are especially beautiful. The majesty of God is revealed in a special way. I went to the cemetery today. It’s less than a 15 minute drive. I wanted the potted flowers to get water. Connecting physically is nice. I had some difficult days. The weekends are especially difficult. I understand about the distractions and not being drawn to pray. There has been one prayer though that has been very comforting for me. It’s a prayer penned by a nun. It’s called ‘The Litany of Trust.’ Yes, it’s Catholic but you don’t need to be Catholic to pray it. I have found it creates peace within me because the essence of the prayer is to trust Jesus with everything to handle and unburden ourselves from the unbearable pain of grief and the symptoms and the feeling like we can’t go on. I am attaching it if anyone is interested in praying it. Once the prayer opens scroll down to pray it. Remembering you and Sue Ana in my prayers. I think the important things are the responses (Deliver Me or Jesus I Trust in You.) We cannot do this ourselves. Sue breaks my heart. I remember very early on how I just wanted to have my friend rock me in her arms like a child while I sobbed. I would like to be able to do that for Sue. She needs it. Daily prayers for you both.
