Good vid! The remainder theorem just says something intuitive wrapped in complex notation. Say we have y= x^2+7x+13=(x+3)(x+4)+1 . The theorem says if we divide by x-3 , we get a remainder of 1, and also if we substitute x=3 we also get a remainder of 1.

on my June SAT, I had a math question that was EXACTLY like on in the practice tests, just different numbers. glad I searched up how to do it otherwise i wouldnt have known how to solve it (at end of harder module)

@@siennarose228 As someone who got 1530, the trick is to just do practice tests, realize your mistakes and weaknesses, work on them, and then take another practice test. Repeating this, along with enhancing vocab, got me a pretty good score.

@@tjilsagalt3564 after dec, i had other exams so i didnt pay any time to sat. i started in the end of march all over again. i just practiced more questions for english and made sure to read the qs more comprehensively. For math, i realised how unaware i was in dec of the vareity of the qs, i was just more broadened to types of qs that appear in the test by practice.

On my test there was a question that I havent seen anyone talk abt so far. There was a question with a scatterplot and an outlier and it asked how the slope and y intercept changed.

Went from a 1350 (620/730) in August of last year to 1500 (720/780) in June by knocking out the SEC/transitions/notetaking questions and focusing on what language in the answer choices makes them wrong rather than right and to keep an eye out for complex math questions. It's given me a bit more motivation to shoot for a high 1500 in August!

Junior, going into senior year. I currently have a superscored 1390. My goal is 1450+. It's really tricky because I have a 4.0 GPA, I sort of need a "perfect" SAT score in order to qualify for scholarship- the admissions counselor said not to submit a 1200 with a perfect GPA because it would basically dis-qualify you for their largest scholarship.

Do you think colleges will look down on an approximately 3.9 GPA or is it good enough?

@@Jake-cc7ie That really depends on the school you are looking at. Most schools have an average or a range of GPAs they have accepted. 3.9 is excellent! But be sure to check the average accepted GPA of each college you are applying to.

I managed to get a 1480 on my first(and only) try, so slightly bummed that i missed out on a 1500+ score. Still happy I got a high score after around a month of study tho! I got a 770-710 split which is also kinda disappointing since i expected my math to be higher than just 710 but oh well

definitely do as many practice tests as you can! Also, work on building vocab and practicing standard english conventions.

practice a s much as you can, do mock test on regular basis and analyse your weak points then work on them.

what do you mean by experimental question? will there be more than 98 questions

There are a couple of questions in each module they are testing out and do not count towards your score
