I currently own this viper. You can find videos on my KZbin. The real cost here is paying somebody else to work on your cars. This car is extremely reliable and has only improved since I got it. Doesn't cost me much to drive other than tires. Makes a little over 2100hp turned up. Crazy to imagine how much he ended up spending with it.

@@amazin7006 I haven't even started making it faster yet. Just done cooling, big brakes, tires, suspension, steering, big clutch, etc. When it's done it'll be so far from stock it wouldn't have mattered whether I started with a C5 or a C6, everything better about the C6 would have needed to be replaced anyway, so why spend the extra money for a stock C6 over a stock C5. Only thing left stock will be the body and control arms, and that's the same between a 5 and a 6 from a performance perspective.

DISCLAIMER: I mean no disrespect to Andy and do appreciate his story. I respect his hard work and am happy for him that he got his lambo-hunter. To viewers of this video -- especially those in their teens and 20s -- please don't spend money like this on your car/s. Specifically, going into credit card debt to fuel this type of passion is playing with fire. It's fine if you want to work hard and make a ton of money. It's fine if you want to buy and enjoy cool cars. You can totally still do that, but please don't put yourself into a bunch of debt "chasing the dragon". As Andy said, "you get acclimated to it." You'll keep digging the hole deeper trying to push things further. Sure, you might die tomorrow. But what if you don't?

From Experience Unless you have Unlimited Funds Do as much as you can yourself. Shops will drain you of every single dollar you have while putting little to no effort in it. Once it blows, they’re draining you again to fix their mess. Have enough funds to do it right the first time and enjoy it or don’t do it at all. It will drain you of the passion you once had for it. You’ll meet great people but you’ll also meet very shady people.

Manual valve body you can go straight from 1st to 3rd with the shifter in the car if you're too hard on it. It's all a straight throw
@Turbowagon
@Turbowagon 2 жыл бұрын
@A shifter only move forward and backwards there are no lockouts between gears. 1 to 2 shift is just a forward push, 2 to 3 is the same forward push. If you're too hard going for 2nd you will complete a 2-3 shift also.
@Turbowagon
@Turbowagon 2 жыл бұрын
@A that is exactly what it is. If you don't shift it doesn't change gear. Conversely when you shift it to a gear that's what gear it goes in regardless of any other factor. You can actually damage the transmission if you do things wrong. You even have to downshift (gently) back to first if you're coming to a stop.

Reinvest in your business to grow it so after a while your presence in day-to-day operations is no longer needed and you can spend your time + money on other activities to keep yourself living. And further than that invest in other industries and expand, once you get one strong income source branching out to further incomes is much easier. Easy 6-7 figures a month. Ez. Run 3-4 trucks and mow 30 yards a day. I did it as a teen. The insurance and taxes will eat u alive though.

I'm glad he is enjoying his hobby ..but good lord! He's throwing his future away.. can you imagine what all that money invested in something like real estate could produce...he'd be a millionaire by now...seriously...Then he could afford to do expensive car hobbies...trust me...I'm almost 61 and when you get to be in this age range or even younger you are not going to be wanting to work as hard as you did when you were 20...and I've been a car guy since I was 14 so I get the passion thing...but guys..be smart about it. Please!

When he looks back on his life he'll have a lot to smile about. That's what matters as long as you don't financially ruin yourself, which he didn't.

Ahh come on. He is enjoying himself and a lot of people with piles of money are not necessarily happy. He seems like a motivated individual I’m sure he will have plenty of opportunities to make money.

I do t understand the hate in the comments This Guy spent it all doing what he wanted. To some people it’s driving autocross on street tires on their real and only car. Fun is fun, some people are all in. Talk to any musician about cost and what it takes.

@@FreddyFunderbunz most musicians get payed way less than a thousand dollars per gig, but they have many thousands worth of equipment. The point is that sometimes the cost has nothing to do with joy
