I understand why you wouldn’t want to coat the Pistons because you want the heat to be absorbed and not reflected and cause possible detonation. But you might want to do some research on coating the valves. I’ve done this for a number of years and have always had very positive results. I am a student of David vizard and he’s the one that got me to coat my valves first. Specially on the intake valve a coating really dose help flow. Because when you’re cool charge of air meets a hot Intake valve it tends to cause the gas to expand and restrict the flow. Just a thought I hope it helps. I really enjoyed your video

I think the stock rods are cracked from Audi/Lamborghini and not broken! Cracked connecting rods are initially made as a single-part component. The large connecting rod eye is then broken in two in a targeted manner. The two parts are screwed together again during mounting. The cracked fracture surfaces achieve an excellent fit precision between the connecting rod shank and the bearing cap. greetings

Are lamb engines hard to work on? Or is it just really expensive?
@rickarda92327 жыл бұрын
they are build the same way any other combustion engine nothing magic about it. Just more expensive components/better materials/quality
@YeetxBoi7 жыл бұрын
The issue is considering it already makes big power, adding more power will always cost more and starting at a higher point means its expensive right off the bat.
@ZoHBo7 жыл бұрын
Every internal combustion engine is extremely similar. Short of having a few more cylinders this will look extremely similar to a 1999 honda civic engine.
@jidean20127 жыл бұрын
Parts are probably hard to find and that means it's expensive. Not many people modifying lambo engines.
@Packrus7 жыл бұрын
Ray Baker and also tools must be a big one since the guy in the video had to make his own tool to just lock the cams in place. Would like to work on theses engines someday, i mean at the end of the day they still have pistons, rods, and a crank.

ditch the e-gear transmission they really suck on high hp and high torque applications they usually get even more clunkier than usual witch it's already terrible clunky and since i think this will be a street car that kinda of behavior would be terrible for that kinda of use. and let's be honest a twin turbo gallardo with 3 pedals and a stick would and will be amazing! but that's my opinion :) great build! keep up with the great work and videos! :)
@PeterBjorck6 жыл бұрын
I thougt exactly like you before i drove the Superleggera. Have you been driving it? It is actually better than i thought. Its pretty fast and when racing you will never misshift like its possible to with manual. Of coarse its not an sequential och double clutch but i think its ok, just need some adjustment for the turbo to work properly.

@peterweszka28187 жыл бұрын
The Crankshaft and the Crankcase will be the biggest Problem to build up a stable high-boost Turbocharged V10-Engine. I think Soft-Boost who support the nA-Engine will be only possible. 2.0Bar will break the Crankshaft very fast ... or the Crankshaftbearing maybe are big stressed.
@peterweszka28187 жыл бұрын
I hope in the near future, CNC-Factories will read-in Original-Engineblocks and then CNC-Engineers will write a new Software for building Engineblocks with a bigger Crankshaftsupport. 3.5L I 6 Supraengine's / and more!!!

What's the biggest issue you have to handle with building big horsepowers in a Lambo? Iv'e always questioned the reliability of these things, and i can imagime it would be pretty expensive to repair...
@PeterBjorck7 жыл бұрын
All depends on how much power. With just little boost the stock engine is fine. But big hp in a Lambo then many parts of engine and drivline have to be replaced. Expensive yes.
