Yup! I mean, really. I just can’t keep them anymore. And when I hem and haw with myself over boxes like Ecto-1 and Barracuda Bay, then I just pull the ripcord and crush ‘em, not only do I have more room, but I never think about them again! Thanks for watching 😁

6:00 YES, I totally get it, wood prices are outrageous I knew it was bad up here in Canada but I had no idea all of North America was affected by the lumber shortage, it's because of supply in demand. due to outbreaks in some of the mills, they can't produce as much (lower supply) and with everyone at home, it's a great time for people to work on home rens and projects (higher demand) and ⬇supply X ⬆demand = price increase

Hey Boone, any tips on converting a garage into a LEGO space in Oregon? My garage is not super well insulated so the temperature fluctuations can be pretty bad summer to winter. Did you do any extra insulation or space heating or anything else to make your garage friendly and comfortable for the building? Thanks! #PortLUG

Hey! Yeah, the temperature fluctuations are the most challenging thing about having the studio in the garage. I have a freestanding AC and a few electric space heaters to try to manage it, but they still don’t keep up on the few hottest days or coldest days of the year. I did insulate my garage door this year, which I think has helped both with sound and temperature, but of course it’s not 100% efficient, and it has been a pretty mild winter. I think the garage door insulation is probably worth it. Otherwise, see if you can figure out how many electrical circuits you have in there and get a space heater for each one. Best of luck!

@@BooneBuilds yeah! I've been struggling with figuring out how to best display ships as they just take up so much room on a shelf. Mounting on a wall or somehow hanging with fishing line seems like the way to go, but I'm weary about the stability.

@@pxchris the Batwing is hung with hooks I made from bailing wire, connected to my shelf brackets. The shelf brackets are mounted to the wall with two inch screws into studs. I think if you’re going to use fishing line, go for the high test strength stuff and put your anchors into rafters (or studs.) best of luck and I’d love to see it when it’s finished!
