If you're on a budget and have dried your skin out with acne meds or products, try La Roche Posay Effeclar H. It's a moisturiser made to hydrate oily skin after acne treatment. Great ingredients like niacinamide! It does contain perfume so I wouldn't recommend if you are sensitive to that. But the price is amazing, I get mine from Feelunique (esp when they have a promotion)

I have the exact same type of skin as yours! I struggled with severe acne growing up, and tried more products than I can imagine- both from drugstores and dermatologists, yet nothing worked. About 3 years ago I started using The Body Shop's tea tree facial wash, tea tree mattifying facial toner, and tea tree night lotion. I can honestly say they have changed my life. Tea tree is the answer to all my prayers and I highly recommend these 3 products from The Body Shop to anyone with acne prone skin. They truly work wonders!!!

Not sure if you've tried it, but the Juice Beauty Stemcellular Cleansing Oil has been life changing for me. Seriously removes ALL makeup, lash glue, eyeliner, lots of foundation/concealer, liquid lipstick...everything! And the best part is that is doesn't bother my eyes at all, I can literally open my eyes with it on and rub my fingers along my lower lash line to remove everything and it doesn't sting AT ALL! To answer your question about an oil cleanser for the eyes I recomend using olive oil just for the eyes. It removes even waterproof makeup and it doesn't iritate the eyes. For me it conditions my eyelashes and it hydrates the area around the eyes. I hope this is helpful.

Try using sweet almond oil instead of an oil based cleanser to remove your makeup. I use it and it doesn't sting my eyes at all. Another thing you could try is using a ph 5.5 face cleanser. I have the exact same skin type as you and I am still on my journey to find my perfect, realistically affordable, everyday regime products. Thank you for your recommendations. I absolutely love The Body Shop Tea Tree wipes when travelling. These are my skin saviours on long haul international flights. They make my skin feel so refreshed and clean, they do not strip it and they prevent spots. Furthermore, I have found The Body Shop's Tea Tree Lotion also a travel staple for the same reason. I have found that this lotion is often more reliable than MB's drying lotion on clearing spots (even though I still keep it on hand).

I haven't read all the comments to see if anyone else has suggested it but for removing my eye makeup I swear by Lancôme's Bi-facil. I must have gone through at least ten bottles so far. My skin is oily, combination blemish prone and sensitive and so are my eyelids but this makeup remover does not leave any residue, it removes waterproof mascara completely and does not sting or irritate my eyes.

You look so lovely Elanna! Pretty as can be! I have oily/acne skin issues and Annie Jaffrey has helped me too. I'm now taking Evening Primrose Oil and Macaharmony Femmenessence because of her. I was struggling with acne on the bottom third of my face, so much so that I'd always wear foundation and concealer, even when just staying in the house all day because I didn't want anyone to see how bad my skin was. It's definitely improving but I'm not totally confident with it yet. I want to get to the stage where I can leave the house without any make up on if I need to, rather than having to spend 30 mins every morning layering it on! I'm 29 and I totally took my clear skin for granted when I was younger!

Hi Elanna, about the cleansing oils, I usually jump between the Caudalie make-up removing cleansing oil - it's a liquid version and super gentle in the eye area - or The Body Shop camomile sumptuous cleansing butter - it's my favorite one, also super gentle and doesn't leave any residue on your face after you remove it. I realy enjoyed the video and I'll try out some of your suggestions.

Hey Elanna! If you're still looking for a makeup-removing cleanser that doesn't bother your eyes, Algenist makes one that I really like for a first cleanse. It's called the genius ultimate anti-aging melting cleanser, and I got a sample of it at Sephora a while back. the full-size is 38 dollars (I know..ugh) but I've found that just about everything else burns my eyes.

Omg I have the exact same skin type where I'm combo skin, very oily in my t zone, and sensitive (especially to the touch). As far as for cleaners the Aveeno ultra calming foaming cleanser is incredible! Does not burn my eyes or irritate my skin, literally takes off all my mascara and makeup no harsh rubbing in the eyes required. Once I pat dry my skin, it's not red (usually all cleaners leave my skin red) and my face feels like a baby's bum! Another goodie is high end but the fresh cleanser! Works just as good, but the aveeno is my holy grail🤗💕 Hope this helps 😃

Hey gorgeous! Try using coconut oil for removing your makeup. I have also acne prone and oily skin, and I really don't like using chemical stuff on my face that much. I used the garnier Micellar water for oily skin, which is okay, but it doesn't really get rid of my mascara that well, and also the rest of my makeup I had to use a ton of product, which is a waste. I feel like the coconut oil gets rid of everything and you really have to use just a bit amount of it, and since it's all natural (if you want to try it, use organic coconut oil) it is not only a great makeup remover it is beneficial as well! AND I love the smell as well as how my skin feels after using it, it makes my skin feel sooo soft almost like a baby bum haha (Btw I just discovered you and you are so so stunning! And I subscribed immediately) I wish you a very nice day, Peace be upon you! ( I am muslim, I don't know if you are, but anyways that doesn't matter for me 'cause I like to wish everyone peace
