But when testing for other rarer conditions NIPT hasn't been subjected to rigorous clinical analysis. An article in the medical journal Ultrasound in Obstetrics and Gynaecology argues that when NIPT is used to screen for these conditions, including Turner syndrome (when a girl has only one copy of the X chromosome) or Klinefelter syndrome (when a boy has two copies of the X chromosome and one Y chromosome) it has "a high failure rate" - a low detection rate and a high false positive rate. One of the authors of that report, Kypros Nicolaides, professor of foetal medicine at King's College Hospital

Hey dude. I play sax too! I’ve been doing some research into klinefelters. My whole family is tall, my dad has a bad hairline, and I don’t eat right. So I have long legs, a receding hairline, and I am overweight. Which are some common characteristics of klinefelters. Up until recently I’ve always just figured that’s the way it was supposed to be. I always thought it was bad genetics, but I’ve figured out of the possibility of having klinefelters. I’ve been experiencing a lot of mood swings recently and my doctor and I have discussed the idea of hormonal imbalance for 47 XXY. I wanted to ask, have you ever experienced any kind of excess rage or levels of “manliness” as a result of the testosterone supplement? Thanks :)
@roymiller54846 жыл бұрын
Thanks for reaching out. Truth be told you may not have an extra chromosomes. For one thing, Klinefelter's is genetic but not hereditary. It sounds like you simply have a lanky family with receding hairline as a common trait. If anything, we tend to have abnormally thick hair due to the excess estrogen. That being said, it's worth investigating with some medical science. I've never had "outrage" or any other negative side affects from the medicine. I don't even get withdrawals.

Just checking back in, but don't see any more videos. Don't remember, did I consider Canada a place to go for a discounted Keryotype? I know eye surgery there was cheaper there several years ago. I wonder... However, you may be closer to Mexico.
@roymiller54846 жыл бұрын
Hey. As far as getting a karyotype, I'm good. I've had several doctors examine me already. Getting one would confirm what I already know.

Hi if you are fat and have Klinefelter syndrome are there excessive sand ways to loose the stubborn fat
@roymiller54844 жыл бұрын
I don't know of any specific ones. It would be best to ask a health care specialist or personal trainer.

Did you have acne or skin problems and did the T help with it?
@roymiller54845 жыл бұрын
Truth be told, I haven't had issues with acne. If you struggle with it, I recommend using black soap. There are some wonderful brands out there like Reeta's Organics.

@roymiller54846 жыл бұрын
They were around 100 before I started testosterone. An average level is around 300, but I'm not quite sure where my current levels are.

Can a person with 507 t level can have klinefelters?
@roymiller54843 жыл бұрын
It doesn't sound likely if your levels are that high without any prior hormone treatment. Anything is possible though. Best bet with something like that is to always get tested by medical professionals.

Do you think I have it?
@roymiller54846 жыл бұрын
I don;t think you have Klinefelter's at all. Most (if not all) folk's with Klinefelter's aren't particularly athletic, and we usually have very little body hair. For example, I don't bulk up very easily, and have very little body hair. Even the little facial hair you see in the video is something I achieved only in the last year thanks to the medicine.

Does testosterone change pear shape?
@roymiller54846 жыл бұрын
It doesn't. Folk's with Klinefelter's tend to have proportionally large hips and legs. I have lots of lower body strength, at least. :)

How can treat this case?
@roymiller54846 жыл бұрын
You are born with a body shape. It doesn't change. Ask anyone with a background in medicine or fashion. The only way to change is surgery like what celebrities do. :)
@ibrahinshoukry46916 жыл бұрын
But I think testosterone treatment help to increase muscle so it can help to correct the shape of the body. Is this right?
