100% I think Hendrix is the best musician but this as a band is the ultimate…… the harmonica and Clarence’s sax here is divine

This Man gives 200% of himself giving everything to share the emotions or fear or joy that he brings in the “story” of every word of every song. I didn’t even come close to expressing my admiration of his commitment to convey meaning and, yes the sharing of his incredibly strong and brave spirit to give “ all of himself” to those lucky enough to be in his presence!!!

The opener for a fifteen night stand at the Arena. He sold 300,000 tickets for these shows in about 24 hours. Absolutely no one could do that today. I went to the show on August 7th with a buddy of mine who had never seen him and he was totally blown away.

I saw him when he came to nz, the last time. How could anyone not appreciate what was presented on stage tonight. Totally amazing. I missed the show in Madison Square gardens, I had to get on the plane and come home. I couldn't believe they would even consider coming here.

Bruce Springsteen has said in multiple interviews that "My Love Will Not Let You Down" should've been put on the "Born In The USA" record. It's one of the reasons why it was used to open most of the 1999/2000 shows.

July 15,1999-Thursday waiting till this showed up on T.V. I remember I was 20 watching this and when my dad came to my room breaking down the news that JFK Jr. crashed his plane,I just screamed "NOOO"..in total disbelief. I just noticed today is July 15,2021.It's been 22 years later and now I'm a 42 year old woman looking at the bottom right of my laptop noticing the time and date. Can't believe it's been 22 YEARS of this and now JFK Jr. and my dad are gone. R.I.P. Well time did let me down.

the sheepish look on his face when he walked out on the stage was that moment where he knew his free wheeling creative days were all over and he was going to ride it out into the sunset on nostalgia. 😢
@chriscianciolo58232 ай бұрын
lol what a ridiculous comment. The entire first two legs of the Magic Tour - 8 years after this video - were primarily based around a brand new album. Bruce didn’t come close to hitting high levels of nostalgia til late in 2009, and even then, the Wrecking Ball tour was filled with a lot of new music too. Ridiculous comment
