Today I got diagnosed with pneumonia and pleurisy.....I sat there in the hospital thinking of nothing but all that Mary has had to deal with and what a warrior she is! I have so much empathy for you and gratitude for all that the Lord has blessed you and Peter with! I had to smile and thank God for your victories lately. This pleurisy is excruciating and the difficulty breathing has humbled me greatly.

So pleased you're trying eggs Mary. They are a complete protein and contain B12 amongst other minerals and vitamins, especially the yolks. Get pasture raised, organic if you can. You like bacon, so you can make some little egg muffins or individual quiches as well for breakfast, they freeze well and are yummy.

My lungs sometimes refuse to get with the program too. I feel ya. Regarding your egg issue.... I have issues with eggs too, by themselves, IN something they don’t bother me, but I have learned that if I drink a small glass of fresh squeezed orange juice I am fine and they don’t bug me. Worth a try.

OMG dragon tails. that just brought me WAYY back. I didn't watch it much but when I was 6 or 7, every week my sister would have a piano lesson before my lesson but my mom would bring us at the same time, so I would sit in my piano teacher's den and watch dragon tails. i feel so nostalgic now !

Hi Guys , Mary sorry you had a tuff morning getting your lungs awake , but wow , what a difference. You might not notice , I see a huge difference. It was about a year ago , I remember Peter was showing the Polar Express in your old home , and you were not feeling your best , but now a little wakeup and a cup of coffee and you are good-to-go. Such Blessed miracles . Without you feeling better , making the transition from north to south would have been so hard. Plus now you can meet new friends , have chili parties with your new friends , wow . I typically describe mine as heavy - not tight just very effortful to breathe or like when I’m breathing there’s a thick filter and its hard to like suck air thru it. People look at me funny but its the best i can do.

Mary your amazing but sometimes the body tells you to slow down take a break. Pace yourself. Do a thing an take a 5 minute break. Then do something else an take a break. You are so much better . l know you want to do it all right now but the body is telling you slow down a little.

I posted a comment a while back about the struggles I was facing at the time. I'd just like to let you guys know that things were looking very good for a while but as of late, we are losing our apartment and I am starting to get sick again. I have a stomach condition along with many mental health issues that have resurfaced. I'd just like to ask for prays for me and especially my boyfriend as he has been trying his best to take care of me but is also falling ill again

Mary, have you gained any weight with the new drug? Just wondering because you look healthier and I know in the past you said your body was working so hard coughing that it was burning calories faster than you could eat. Would love a bit of a weight update! I have noticed you're eating larger portions. Years ago you usually just stole from Peters plate LOL where now you have your own and it's in normal-sized portions, which is great! Edit: Are you still using the feeding tube? I haven't seen you saying you are using it for a while. If you're not, would it be an option to have it removed if your body is doing its job? At what point would that type of discussing come up?

@@lizzieturbeville4089 yeah I'd like to know her and her teams thoughts bc anything like that is a possible source of infection and if it's not being used they may want to eliminate that risk. They may also want to remove simply for the expenses and time associated with flushing it, changing it etc, plus I assume it would be more comfortable. Lots of pros and cons but if she's not using it then they may want to remove it

A lot of factors could come into play-! The weather, the type food you eat, how much water you drink, exercise, diet, etc...... Above all put your Trust in God, through Jesus Christ & I can promise you that you will have MORE happier days-!! God bless-!!!

Me either, however I do like my chili sweet as spicy. I may have to try that tho! It's funny tho, a week or so ago, I made chili and then I was talking to my sister and I heard she and my other sister also had made chili! It was kinda fun knowing that even if we don't live together anymore, we all were on the same for kick! I'm sure all three chilli's were different to! 🤣
