This reminds me of one time when I was running late for school. The roads were very icy that day (people still drive in those conditions because Canada), and I was at an intersection with a traffic light. The walk sign just lit up, so I booked it down the street didn't even look both ways because, well they should've been stopped at the red light. I then heard honking from my left, as a car slid through the red light at probly 20 KMPH (I don't know what that is in MPH, i think around 10), hit me, and sent me flying about 2 feet if I had to guess. I continued to run to school, and she stopped me to quickly apologize. She wasn't anyone I knew, and I wasn't hurt in the slightest, so all I got was a fun little story to tell.

Yo... If that kind of thing ever happens to you, GET CHECKED IN A HOSPITAL. You may not realize it at the time, but in situations like that the adrenaline rush will absolutely prevent you from feeling any injuries that may have occurred! On my way back from school one day, as I walked across the nearby street, I heard a car, not slowing down, but speeding up as it past within 3 meters in front of me.
