Btw Lilly is only 23 rn. Also, whenever I'm trying to get people to understand what IVF is, I ask them what it might feel like to be a snowflake baby (God bless those who adopt embryos). Say you were conceived in the 90's and born now 30 years later. By the time you are a teenager and want to look into your bio family, your bio parents are now in their golden years (likely to have started IVF past 35) and your sibling, conceived at the same time as you, is well into their 40s. If there is anyone with embryos from IVF that is struggling with what to do, there is an adoption agency, the National Embryo Donation Center (NEDC) that will only adopt embryos to married male/female couples who have a complete home study. They also do not allow surrogacy or genetic/selective testing, never discard a living embryo, and will let you choose if you want an open relationship with any child that is born. I would posit that what's going on with Lily Phillips is a sort of "cognitive dissonance." She's accepted and put her full faith in an understanding of sexuality as just an activity that people do and enjoy that carries no inherent moral or relational consequence or relevance, and her actions (having sex with 100 men) to demonstrate the truth claims of that understanding didn't line up with the reality of what she experienced, at least at some level -- her tears tell it all -- that at some level, something in her does not really go along with her professed understanding of sexuality.

After listening to everything available, especially the recordings, it’s very obvious what is going on. In all honesty, Alley, I think she played people w the tears - that way she gets to be on way more podcasts, like yours, and will then unfortunately, meet her "goal" and acquire more "victims" theough mlre viewers. My thoughts, for what they're worth, but why give this woman the attention - is it not any different than giving a gunmen the attention.... and what is the result? Others follow. This woman is sick, no doubt, and you did well to explain the spiritual side, but I am.concerned for the "Christian" watching this, who is now looking her up because they have never heard of her and now found her intriguing. Also, the Daystar info was just way too much to feed the negative outcome. Just my opinion. I honestly, just felt lead to speak my thoughts. This reminded me of a Brazilian celebrity. She was a call girl, and became famous because she would appear naked and had slept with Cristiano Ronaldo, etc. When she tried to get breast implants, she was between life and death, converted, wrote books telling all her love affairs, including having sex with animals, etc. All saying that she was sorry, that Jesus this, Jesus that. Anyway, after a while she went back to the same lifestyle and even worse. It is her own son who films the content that she posts on these sites. And of course we have to say that the media loves to talk about her. We are living in such crazy times that people are no longer surprised by a son who films his mother in erotic poses for prostitution.

@@MyMusiqueLive now that I’ve done more research on her and watched the documentary I have to disagree. She’s a professional P-star and she does this for a living. She’s clearly very proud of her work and is on a whole press tour bragging about not just the 100 guys but way more than that. Her parents support her and friends are all in. She had about as much remorse as any other p-star has had. So while everyone here is praying for her please pray for the 1000’s of other p-stars out there because she’s no different.

This whole story with Lily reminds me a lot of Tess of the D’Urbervilles. Lack of protection from parents. Abandonment by loved ones, which leads to disaster. Godless decisions compounding into disaster. And ultimately a loss of belief that one can be redeemed. Ugh. 💔

@kellys-sx7gf Yes. Also, Proverbs gives a lot of wisdom on this. How should an individual or the society respond and view harlotry? It's reasonable to come away with the conclusion that our first goal should not be the individual salvation of the preying wayward woman but the health and conscience of the society. We need a culture where things like this will have terrible social consequences so that it would not be an option a man or a woman would consider. If any perverse action is only met with prayers and the gospel proclamation, obviously only the elect will change their ways. But there is a way to hinder the lawlesness of all: social shame and rejection.

The ability to put yourself in the situation of another, understanding the complexity behind every choice etc. all of which should cause us to be quick to listen and slow to speak. None of this should come in the way of a biblical, natural, objective, and wise response. We should propably excercise empathy even when we look at school shooters, pedophiles, homosexuals, baby killers, and yet let none of it hinder a right response of condemnation. And even this does not have to stand in the way of an individual person who has access to the person from caring for their shoul and sharing the gospel. The question is. How should the public response to public display and celebration of societal cancer? The first response of the public should be simple social shaming and rejection. When the mouth is shut and a conscience appears, it is time to apply grace.

The culture is just as sick and in desperate need of salvation, how would society shame something it already embraces. Why would you look to the state to “punish” her, she hasn’t even committed a crime? No what she needs is the truth and the gospel of Christ Jesus and people to pray for her salvation. May we always be more ashamed of our own sins before God, than we are condemning of others, that we may speak the gospel to all in humility, and grace.

I saw the clip and was immediately heart broken for her. We are in a spiritual battle, and we now have an opportunity to fight the spiritual battle for her soul. I don’t feel like she is too far gone to receive the Lord and to know his grace, forgiveness, and salvation. Lord, save her soul and allow us to be able to call her sister!

Then after she comes back from crying she said she was upset because she felt like she let some of the guys down, that she hoped they got the experience they hoped for.
