Agree 100%. It's funny, when I was a teenager I desperately wanted make-up to cover spots and scars but every time I went into a makeup aisle I felt overwhelmed and didn't know where to start. Thanks to a good friend I have foundation now lol. But tbh now I've gone so long without it that I don't feel the need to wear it constantly. Which is nice 😊

I really hate foundation and I'm terrible at it so I usually just do my eyeshadow, eyebrows and highlight. I skip the foundation. I have a weird thing where I think acne / dark circles can look flattering . Especially on other people.

Yes to the under eye circles!!You're so spot on about the 90's supermodel thing, I remember in about 1997 I read an article in a magazine interviewing Elle McPherson and she said something like "when I woman has dark circles under her eyes I think it is so feminine and sexy" and I was a kid at the time but it stuck with me and now I'm 34 I'm like "yah these bags are sexy"

I've been watching you for, I think 4 years now out of entertainment. Last year I wanted to re start my curly hair journey after I My hair started growing back. ( I lose my hair when I get stressed and your girl was stress last year) You hair tips and products really really helped me and I want to thank you for that. Not to mention watching you makes me feel so comfortable and confident in my own skin.

I also lose hair when I'm stressed. I really recommend using a weekly hair mask of aloe vera and Castor oil. It has made my curls sooo healthy and hydrated. I recommend checking out either Natasha Camile or Bianca Renee's tutorials of it. My hair is thinner than theirs, and I have 2a/b curls, but the mask still worked wonders for my hair.

Complexion looking clearer, Miss Penny. And you've nailed the invisible enhancement look with that mineral stuff. I like Bare Minerals, too. Love the brows (very natural looking). Trouble with eyeliner is once people get used to seeing it on you, they notice when you leave it off, so you feel like you've got to in order to present. Plus you're blessed with dark lashes, which means you get great natural definition. I think it's perfectly ok to have fun with make-up as a young lady in your mid-20s, after eschewing it for so long, and you're putting a very healthy message out there.

Idk if you’ll see this but I really appreciate you posting this, i recently watched your other videos dealing with cystic acne and scaring and obviously I felt like I could finally relate to somebody who’s been dealing with this. I’m happy to say I’ve been the cystic acne a year ago but I am left dealing with the scars and derma rolling by a professional or laser surgery costs a lot so for now I’m trying to just be happy with myself and accept the scars for what they are. You’ve basically motivated me more to do so, since my family isn’t as informed on skincare or supportive in general ya know? Again, thank you for opening about this, It’s really not easy but i know it can get easier. (Plus side note I love minimal makeup so this is a win win for me! :)) 💜💜
