Can you build muscles and burn fat while training at home? Today I’m sharing my personal experience. What is your preference? Do you train at home, gym or both?
@SamuelJordanFitness2 жыл бұрын
Home for me! Love the gym but training at home suits my lifestyle and as I'm travelling a lot I need a portable set-up. Thanks for the video Pavel! 👊
@PavelKrotovFit2 жыл бұрын
@@SamuelJordanFitness absolutely. Home training is more convenient and can work around busy life style. Nice to get in the gym from time to time and have access to more equipment, but sometimes body weight workout can be more challenging than any gym session

I like training from home. No egos there. No one to focus on except yourself. No commute, and the shower is always clean, and available afterwards. 🙂
@PavelKrotovFit Жыл бұрын
100% , whenever i go to the gym, some equipment that i want to use would be in use. Training outside is my favourite, bit of fresh air and sunshine is nice addition. Very true about the shower too :)

I train both at the gym and at home, but I prefer training at home. I have kettlebells, clubs, gymnastics rings, a sandbag, two tyres, a mace and a sledgehammer and I can use my back garden. It is a lot more fun to train outdoors and also more convenient to squeeze a quick workout during the day. I only use the gym for heavy lifts.
@PavelKrotovFit2 жыл бұрын
That’s great. You definitely have more toys at home than me :) I keep checking shops for Clubs, Mace and Sandbag. I like to training in the gym too, but most of my training is at home… often but dinner on and go through 30 min workouts while dinner cooking in the oven :)

That's very true. Weight is the weight, you body don't care that much, you just need to keep moving and enjoy what you do. Im sure kids keeping you busy, so have to fit in your sessions when have time

For the stated goal of "fit and healthy" all you need it your body, some floor space, and gravity.

Hi Pavel. Totaly agree with you about having home equipment. It’s a great investment that can be used for many years. I would also recomend having a Jump Box and a Slam Ball. These are also useful tools that i use in my workout routine. As always appreciate your videos.
@PavelKrotovFit2 жыл бұрын
Hey Felix. Box and Slam Ball is good addition. All will be great investment and last for years. I should add more workouts with other equipment too. Glad you find value and enjoying my workouts

I definitely prefer my home gym of kettlebells, pull up bar, slam ball, and sandbag. I also trail run on the weekends and use a warmup of 100 burpees per day. Living in Arizona it gets insanely hot in the summer, so I did buy a peloton to sub for the trail running in the hot summer months. My main go to is kettlebell. Best results I’ve ever had are from the combo of high rep burpees and full body Kb workouts . 👍
@PavelKrotovFit2 жыл бұрын
Nice, that’s great to connect across the world. 100 burpees abs KB work sounds like a good combo (enjoy this combination my self) I keep checking online, thinking if I should get sandbag too? Had a chance to use it few times, always great fun

Great video Pavel. I am in Canada and I have my home gym. It wasn't overly expensive to get started, actually cheaper than a gym membership, also less distractions. I have added a lot more stuff recently. But it is still cheaper than a gym membership. Also, with a lot of gyms having to close down during these Covid times. Being able to workout at home, when you have the time, is a blessing.

Hey Brian. Absolutely agree with you… you can find good deals and get great equipment bit by bit. I’m often training in the evening when kids in bed and waiting for my dinner.

Thanks for your next great video. I am a kettlebell lover and I mainly use this equipment. Workouts at home are, above all, time-saving and full concentration. Sometimes a gym would be useful to lift heavier, but you can't have everything. Fun with kettlebells gives you joy and allows you to be fitter and stronger. Maybe another video about how you eat to keep in good shape and regenerate properly?
@PavelKrotovFit2 жыл бұрын
Totally agree with you. You can have a good workout in shorter time in the comfort of your home. Nice to have options, but its all about consistency and kettlebell workout plan can provide that. I will try to add more videos with food and recopied options too. Hope that give you some ideas

Thanks Pavel, I learned something new, that there's competition kettlebells and "regular" iron kettlebells. Good to know and be aware of the pros and cons. I have the iron kettlebells and they work fine for my workouts. I also a TRX (suspension training) which is always I nice add to the home workout arsenal. I definitely prefer weights before reaching for the TRX. After quitting the gym for 3 years, there were certain aspects I really missed (more equipment and more space), so I just joined back up but usually will go there only 2-3 times a week and always have sometime of workouts at home due to more convenience and needing to maximize my time management. I am still a bit cautious with going to the gym given the pandemic and aim for only going there if the occupancy is quite low. I can monitor the occupancy via my gym app.
@PavelKrotovFit2 жыл бұрын
Absolutely agree with above. Having equipment at home, ho I got you flexibility and convenience. Definitely can complete good workout with few kettlebells and TRX is good addition too. Thank you for watching. Hope bring more value and new videos to share 💪🙌

Hey Pavel, I discovered your channel from Lebe Stark and he's right about how good your kettlebell workouts are. I was curious if you had to choose between an airdyne bike or a rower, which would you choose?
@PavelKrotovFit2 жыл бұрын
Hey Edmond. Thank you for your support (I`m big fan of Gregorrys channel too) Glad you find my workouts useful. In terms of rower and air bike, both are great (or evil :) ) addition for your training and would work well in combo with Kettlebells. If I had to chose only one, then i would go for a rower, I like the range of movement through the legs, hips and posterior chain engagement.
@EddieLuongo2 жыл бұрын
@@PavelKrotovFit AWESOME, also I was thinking what were your thoughts about adjustable dumbbells/kettlbells from bowflex? Also I think a jump rope would be another essential equipment for a homegym too I think
@PavelKrotovFit2 жыл бұрын
@@EddieLuongo in my opinion Bowflex Dumbbells are great, few I’m my clients have these at home, and it’s great way to save space and have different weight that can be switched in seconds. On another hand I’m not too sure about Kettlebell from them (as the shape and handle look very uncomfortable for me) never tried myself, but adjustable KB from Kettlebell Kings might be better option. Skipping rope is great addition. Always add that to my warm ups.
@The_Conspiracy_Analyst2 жыл бұрын
Best complete home gym setups if you have the money are Tonal, Bowflex Revolution, or Handy Gym. Handy Gym is probably best out of the three, for price, resistence offered, and most of all portability. You can't safely push yourself with dumbells. Take an OHP type movement for example. Are you going to push yourself to failure and risk dropping that on your head? No.
