Love your videos...They have inspired me to down size and now I am clutter free going towards essential minimalism... I love the idea of fitting all your possessions in a bag...my grandmother used to live like that...with a suitcase...and I thought it is not possible in this age and time. I own a pair of sandals, a pair of tennis shoes my sister bought me, and a pair of steel toed work boots. I recently bought a green tee shirt to wear under my work shirt, because it’s scary low cut, but I own three jean skirts, one corduroy skirt, two black skirts, two dresses, and two black skirts I wear to work. Socks, those are a separate category. I have cotton in black, cotton in white, I have alpaca tweed socks, all ankle socks, and then there are the hand knit socks, all crew length, all with proper heel flap and gusset construction, some in fingering weight, some in worsted, for hunting. I own one purple and one white cardigan, and a few shawls, and then there are the hats, head coverings and light scarves. Somehow for me, knit clothing are integral, but entirely separate items. They are clothing, but they never count as wardrobe. Every knit or crochet item is useful and used, but are more a personal standard than a layer. I still think your striped sweater is cute. But maybe you’d like it more if it were an inch or two longer? Maybe you can pick up stitches at the bottom and work downwards in a double or 4x3 rib, possibly in a darker brown, to keep the color scheme?

Thank you! Yes, I pay a lot of attention to fibers and why it doesn't work for me to cut out plastic completely (stretch, waterproof stuff, etc...) I try my best to reduce it as much as possible! ☺️

Yes!! I love my own capsule wardrobe!! I have 38 articles of clothing and 7 pairs of shoes. I do have a select couple of shoes I wear but that’s it! I love your wardrobe! Minimalistic wardrobe for me is my favorite instead of having a bunch of clothes I never wore! Yay!!

One thing that I let myself invest more in are coats and warm underwear. I have a rain jacket that is thin and then my down filled parka- the seasons where I live are so different (hot in summer, very rainy and damp in spring, then extreme cold in fall and winter)! I think about how much fun it would be to have a minimalist wardrobe in a climate where most seasons are the same lol

Your wardrobe is so nice and curated! Sometimes I wish mine were like that, but sometimes I realise I wear all my clothes of a certain category before wash days. I think maybe I'd have less clothes if I didn't live alone and had other people's things to wash too, as I hate to use my washing machine when it's half empty, and I hate to mix things up too much (ie heavy jeans with thin cotton t-shirts, because I want to avoid holes in the shirts, or clothing that I wash cold with bedding/towels that I sometimes wash hot because my partner has issues with dust). And there are a LOT of things I want to wear out instead of declutter. But maybe in 10 years or so I'll get there!

Organic basics website is closed right now, for some time they didn’t respond to customer messages. On some Dutch economic website there’s a news that they went bankrupt. Check comment section on their last Instagram post. I’m waiting for my order since 20th of June with no response or anything :( I advise you to refrain from promoting them for the moment. The situation is not clear.

I know that they planned on changing their website, and therefore I was sure everything is fine. But I hear you, I have heard other people having difficulties with communicating with them too... I will not promote them any further until I know more but when I recorded the video a few days ago I was sure everything is fine
