Zumret Dawut was born and raised in Urumqi. Working as a shuttle trader between Urumqi and Pakistan, she would get married to Pakistani businessman Imran Muhemmed in 2005. The couple have three children together. Zumret’s passport was confiscated sometime in 2017. On March 31, 2018, she was called by the local neighborhood administration, after which she was taken to the local police station for questioning. Fixed to a tiger chair, she would then be interrogated about her marriage to a Pakistani and her bank transfers with Pakistan.
She would then be hooded and taken to the Beyzen (北站) “training center”, where she would spend around two months, being released on June 2 thanks to negotiations by Pakistani diplomats on her husband’s behalf. Though she intended to leave the country immediately with her husband and kids, she was first forced to pay a 18000RMB fine for her third child being born “outside the plan”. She was then further required to undergo sterilization in order to be given permission to leave the country, and on October 22, 2018 she underwent the procedure in a local facility (previously an epidemic prevention center).
In late January 2019, the family was finally able to leave for Pakistan - to see Imran’s sick father - on the condition that they return by February 27, 2019. Fearing for their safety, they went to the US on April 2, 2019 instead, applying for asylum there.

Astagfirullah. May Allah SWT protect the Uyghur community and enable us to help th in every possible way. This is absolutely terrifying. To see the way everything is unfolding yet the geopolitical tensions prevent many countries from acknowledging or challenging this. I am deeply ashamed, saddened and embarrassed that Pakistan is among those many Muslim majority nations that has turn a blind eye and even turned Uyghurs over to China for "diplomatic relations" and to preserve Chinese funding and investments in the country. Luckily we're not bound by that. We can do so much from abroad, IA.

Majorities Hindus killed and massacred, Muslims since 1945- until now. Major Riots or minorities Muslims were, are killed, massacred 1945-47. all over India. 2002 in Gujarat and 2020 in Delhi Riots and still going on millions of Muslim's were killed and massacred by Hindus extremists like BJP political party current government of India and their right wing terrorist groups RSS. Indian Occupied Jammu and Kashmir another place since 1947. International community's should sanctions China and India. Permanent solution's are Free or Independent Uyghur and free Indian Occupied Jammu & Kashmir.

They won’t. Assad has been horrible to his own people. The crown prince of Saudi has been committing genocide against the Yemenis for 10 years. I saw a video a few months back of a uyghur woman and her daughter deported(it’s against international law), a few days ago the same thing in Morocco. Sadly, many leaders of Muslim countries are horrible
