i LOVE my mom. She has always been with me every step of the way. I'm currently doing the Goodbye Lupus Protocol reversing lupus nephritis. I'm a mom now myself but she's STILL with me every step of the way even though she is currently on the other side of the world. Moms are the greatest...she's been the best example of what a mother should be. Love you, MOM! Thank you, Dr. G. and beautiful Mama (esp. you for getting in front of the camera), for sharing your experience and heart. I never get tired of hearing your story, Dr. G. but hearing from you mom.... bring out the tissues. Just beautiful, the both of yous.

What a beautiful interview. I have heard Dr. G talk about her journey w/ Lupus & have been following her interviews & her Q & A’s. I related so much to her Mom, & the story. I had a child who was born w/ a genetic disease, muscular dystrophy. Although he wasn’t sick like Brooke was, he faced numerous challenges as his muscles kept weakening & his body continued to break down. I handled the disease much like Brooke’s mom did, taking one day at a time, & staying positive & not letting him feel sorry for himself- which he never did anyway. I too never thought too much ahead. Positivity is so important to anyone going through health issues. In spite of it all we shared a life filled with love. So important. I loved this story, & am so happy you became well Dr G! I wish I could have found a miracle for my son who is no longer with us.

Truly gorgeous Mom. My Mom just turned 91 so 78 is great! I know what she means about feeling normal. Follow her daughter Dr Brooke Goldner's plan, dear KZbinrs, and you'll see what we're talking about. Feeling normal from being previously riddled with inflammation, is a true God send.

What a beautiful interview, had me in tears many times. I can see the love they have for each other. Thankful for Dr.Goldner & her mama, because she wouldn’t be here without having such a wonderful support system. Also she looks amazing for her age! They are both glowing & healthy, I want that for myself too! Much love ❤

Ok did Brooke test for Lyme and coinfections ever. I bet at that time they did not have any good tests anyway, but Lyme is a trigger for Lupus. Lupus is just a word, that describes symptom. Does anyone know if Brooke had Lyme?

My older sister spent 20 years trying to be diagnosed which she finally was in the 80's - with Lupus. Unfortunately she died of cancer in 2003. I wish I'd known about Goodbye Lupus protocol when she was still alive. Fast forward to 2017 and I was myself diagnosed with a very rare autoimmune disease called GPA. I credit my wonderful rheumatologist for saving my life. When I saw him I was so sick I just lay there on his exam table. I also had so many of the same symptoms as Dr. G leading up to my diagnosis. I had oral chemotherapy and prednisone among my many meds. Thank goodness for remission. Doctors tell me I will never be rid of my autoimmune disease. Thank you Dr. G for all your free health information and advice and recipes. Thanks, ❤ 🩺
