Hi Tom. I've been binge watching your eating well videos. Thanks for sharing, much appreciated. What I like about your videos is the consistency. In one video, you spoke of different diets suiting different people. In another, you made mention of being one's own guru as we ourselves know ourselves the best. I also liked the fact you don't shun readymade, less healthy food . And also the fact you mentioned that we should question why we do what we do. Demonstrates self confidence and maturity. Cheers

Currently dealing with a running injury and my primary sport is running. Just wanted to say you're my biggest motivation when it comes to rehab. Also, awesome video and sweet mobility routine. :)

Your vlog editing has gotten loads better compared to the beginning of the series. Look at those transitions. Was hoping you would do a smoothie recipe soon my wish was granted!

Tom, loved you fun and tip-filled video. You may know this, but this type of video fills a NEED for so many people who LACK community. It might be easy to dismiss the requests for this type of blog (with extra fun personal trivia.) It would be easy to see this type as more of a diversion from the real Bodyweight Warrior stuff. But don't forget, you seem to be all about serving and meeting NEEDS. Good. It is OK to take this need seriously. I hope it is OK to introduce you to a book that goes into great detail about community. From Amazon: "... sociologist Robert Nisbet. His book The Quest for Community, published in 1953, stands as one of the most persuasive accounts of the dilemmas confronting modern society." "... Nisbet argued that the rise of the powerful modern state had eroded the sources of community-the family, the neighborhood, the church, the guild. Alienation and loneliness inevitably resulted." Tom, I read this book about 20 years ago and found that it helped me understand more how the world worked, human nature and so on. He addresses stuff that is seldom talked about. Just reading the reviews on Amazon will give you a better idea. Probably not necessary to get the book, but you read more than most guys your age, and you seem to analyze things more. Great video as always. Note Tom, unless you have an interest in sociology, economics, government policy, law and so on, just read the reviews.

I think it's interesting. I tried to be a morning person (get told it's good for you) but I really struggled with recovery and energy. I think individual variance matters :)

About that HRV I've experienced some relapse into sleep waiting for those 3min to pass. Do you have any tip to counter that ?? Thanks

I personally used a 1 min test to speed things up but I've definitely stuggled from this one haha

I am one of those crazy people who just do 5 straight minutes of cold. Been doing it so long now that warm showers feel nasty and sweaty.

Oh yeah, total hard man! Joking aside, studies I've read suggest that your method of contrast showers might be better for recovery. But for now I'm finding that despite working out pretty much daily (even if it's a mini workout or cardio) I'm keeping inflammation at bay with cold and not needing the old ibuprofens at all (unlike a few years ago when I was swallowing them like they were going out of fashion!).
