Agree with your choices! I love the Mach 6, Mach X2, zoomfly 6, novablast 5 and Glideride max and these are the shoes I use in my rotation (in addition to the puma deviate nitro 2) Didn’t get along with the Superblast 2 and the brooks max shoe. I don’t race so don’t have any race shoes.

Completely agree about the Skyward X. I gave it a good, honest 50 miles, but it never opened up for me. I’m still running in the Glycerin Max, but I agree that the Glideride Max is more versatile and a better value in that category.

I could not run in the Adidas SL2 because I got them TTS and they are so short.. Mach 6 got in wide but had to send it back. To narrow in the toebox.. Novablast 5 on my buy list.. Rabbit not sold in Europe.. In Thailand they do rabbit against tortoise races.. Tortoises usually win 🎉.. Mach X2 is amazing. Such a fun shoe. Asics Superblast V1 was clunky and nothing special at my running pace. Avoiding the V2. Glideride Max is very comfortable. Very good lock down ❤. Hoka Skyward X is amazing for me.. I do recovery runs in them.. I have 2 pairs of the Endorphin Pro 3 so waiting for the sale in the Endorphin Pro 4 😂. Tried the Alphafly 3 but found them nothing special so did not buy them.. Definitely go with the Metaspeed Paris Edge.. I tried both.. Did not like the Sky at all..

So confirming on the Mach 6 you ordered wide and still too narrow? I am considering that shoe, but only in wide, but if it is still too narrow, I'm out. I don't like my toes to feel squeezed and/or suffocated, since I will wear a shoe all day long, about 14 hours straight.

Nimbus 26 upper is a bit narrow in the toebox.. Let us know if they changed it in the 27.

I ordered the Nike Zoomfly 6, since it looks like Nike finally made a good shoe for the masses which is not an expensive super shoe. I've owned and sold my Nike Pegasus 40's (junk) and I have a pair of the Nike Invincible 3's, which I experience heel slippage in. Still have the Invincible 3's but use them as a non-workout just wear around the house shoe.

Interesting that the Mach 6 is a good long run shoe! Has a rep as a relatively speedy non-plated shoe, but I suppose it does have forefoot stack in the 30s

I would love to see a mach 6 and novablast 5 comparison. I absolutely loved my mach 6s and got them to 450 miles, but Im really interested in the novablast 5s, and i cant find anything that compares the both of them.

It's crazy how we are all different, I was so hyped when I saw endorphin pro 4 cause I loved endorphin 3 so much and I had 2 pairs of them previously, but I was disappointed with endorphin pro 4, they felt dead out of the box and the upper was to baggy for me since I have narrow feet they are bottom heavy and nowhere near as nice as endorphin pro 3. I love superblast 2 so much for my daily easy/long runs and Im on 3rd pair right now, also metaspeed sky paris and alphafly 3 are my favourite racing shoes for 2024. Adidas SL 2 fits me well, but I didn't like them either, they feel to firm and dull for my liking.

Yes it is. I watch some KZbin videos and scratch my head and I know some ppl watch mine and are like “wth?!?” I will say the Endo Pro 4 didn’t feel super “racey”…i just appreciated that it wasn’t overly harsh. Are you a bigger runner?

Do you feel like the Glideride Max are heavy? I know you said they weren't clunky, but their weight seems high. Great reviews.

They’re definitely not lightweight, I think my US 12 is 11.5oz. With that said, Skyward X & Glycerin Max both were closer to 13oz. Not light but the geometry and feel of the shoe really keeps the weight from being noticeable. Thanks for watching, hope you have a Merry Christmas!

im interested in the glideride max, what pace do u feel theyre best at? also how do strides at 3min/km feel in them?

I like them best at around 7:30-8:15 minutes per mile(4:40-5:05 minutes per k). They’re more of a comfy long run shoe but I can also incorporate my marathon pace mileage (around 4:15 minutes/km) and they can handle that with no problem.

They’re ok at recovery, but thats not where they feel their best. The geometry of the shoe makes you wanna go a little quicker.

@@justjared82 true, i already hav 1080v13 which are solid for recovery but was just curious whats ur recovery shoe? also since glideride max is ur hero shoe of the year does that mean u rate it higher than novablast 5?

I do rate it higher than Novs 5 because I think it’s more versatile and more comfortable. My recovery shoe here lately has been the Invincible 3, but the Nimbus 27 will be here soon!
