Had my first run in these today and they felt great. Great cushion with responsiveness and love the gentle roll forward. They are also relatively light for their stack height.

Glad you like them! They definitely feel lighter on foot than they do on the scale. I hope you continue to enjoy them as much as I have!

Toe box run narrow or normal width ? On the toe box
@justjared8211 күн бұрын
It was normal width, at least normal as far as Asics fit. I went TTS and had no issues.

Sooo close to hitting purchase on these! Still a pretty slow runner…. (Zone 2 10:45-11:25). You mentioned other recovery shoes, which few would you recommend?
@justjared822 ай бұрын
I like the Nike Invincible 3, the NB More, Brooks Ghost Max or even the Asics Novablast is comfortable at recovery paces.

Finally someone who buys his shoes with his own money, and size 12. Fantastic

Buying them yourself definitely makes you more critical! Thank you for watching!

I am a big runner and slow runner.. do you believe it is a shoe for me or you suggest me something else for long runs? The novablast do not like i injured, i prefer the more v4
@justjared822 ай бұрын
I’m a bigger guy myself(190 pounds), and I did not feel like I bottomed these out, but I do feel like they want you to pick up pace a tad. I recommend you stick with NB More, or if you want to try something new the Asics Nimbus 25 or 26, the Hoka Clifton, Nike Invincible 3, or Brooks Ghost Max 1 or 2 would probably be good options for you. Thanks for watching and I hope that helps!

I found the glide max in really good price.. Propably i will take that than nimbus in that price
@justjared822 ай бұрын
@ i agree that it’s definitely worth the small price increase over the Nimbus
@kevinh19762 ай бұрын
Can you compare these to the Nimbus 25/26? Wondering if these are worth the upgrade.
@justjared822 ай бұрын
I’ve only ran in Nimbus 25, but the Glideride has a much smoother/easier heel to toe transition, slightly lower drop, higher stack, more comfortable/less hot upper, and is a little peppier. I felt like Nimbus was good for my recovery runs but the Glideride fits more into the daily trainer(a little bit faster) paces. I hope this helps!
@justjared822 ай бұрын
Are they worth the upgrade? If your Nimbus are getting near the end of their useful life, I think so, otherwise I would just keep sending it in the Nimbus until they’re worn out.

Been waiting for new colours to drop and im buying a pair, not a good colour for wet UK winter!
@justjared822 ай бұрын
I understand, you definitely don’t want the color I have! Maybe the black? Thanks for watching!
@liamhockey91892 ай бұрын
Yes just the white here in the UK atm. Hopefully more soon! 😁

@@liamhockey9189 wow, it’s strange the difference in availability across the world in models, colorways, and pricing

It's stressing me out that Asics have not released that black colourway in the UK yet 😤
