The molle and some of the other additional features that aren't as typical on other jackets could prove useful actually. There's things you could mount that don't even have to be excessively tacticool but actually practical and well thought out.

Ik heb deze jas aangeschaft en meteen weer teruggestuurd. Het is geen jas maar een tent die je aan hebt. Erg stug materiaal en ik kan mezelf hierin niet bewegen. Erg teleurstellende jas voor mijzelf en dat is dus erg persoonlijk. Bedankt voor de review!

Then simply don’t use it. I can think of three uses right from the start. Like an IFAK, a radio pouch, or magazine pouch. But if you can’t then simply leave them empty.

Could be a great place for hiking or sustainment or edc pouches of some kind. Could carry a utility knife pouch of some kind there. Like a phone pouch for your phone, and also a little snack pouch for food. Maybe even a tiny water bottle pouch even.@@SolarGeneral

I think they do it in Bundeswehr Flecktarn too, I love that jacket. I am a huge Helikon fan but this looks a better product than their ECWCS jacket and this one if worn over a Helikon Pilgrim Smock would be a lugger of a set-up and you could almost abandon a backpack. Oh! and In German it's "Warum denn nicht? Selbstschutz"

Thanks for making this video. Been wondering about this jacket as a more affordable look alike of the kitanica mark v jacket, but still made by a reputable company. The uh "inspiration" is pretty evident tho.

Been getting ads for Military 1st on Facebook for weeks, and I think this jacket being on sale has broken me. I gotta have one! Shame the ODG isn't available in large at the moment, suppose I may have you to thank for that! But, I wore a black M65 with a band logo stitched in for years. This design in black will play the role just as well, I even cut the band's branding out to make into patches.

Yes, definitely. With the outer material being so tough you'll have the sewing holes left however they'll disappear over time. I've had several garments in the past that I've removed Velcro section from

I'm usually a large and this is a large. For me it's actually a tiny bit small. Not massively small, or at least, not small enough that I'd get the next size done. It's snug 👍

Although this utilizes cordura fabric I cant say it doesn't just scream style jacket and not functional jacket. Just by the design of the front pockets as well as the one on the shoulder you can see they're not really meaning to have the size so that they can be used properly like on a classic smock. Materials seem great and the style factor is there but I don't think it'd see much use outside of city activities

I just ordered this jacket just for crawling into bushes and snow and for going into dirty environments etc, i have helikon jackets and other brands aswell but in the end they are too nice lookings and i dont want to get them 'dirty', use them mainly in everyday use, i live in the woods of finland and we are getting snow as we speak, i will put this jacket in some serious test and i hope this is good for it, time will tell. I dont know this jacket into particular, but based on my decades experience with standard military issue M65 jackets, i can only say - go with the real deal, not brandit. It's fashion, made in china. And to be honest, i do own 2 black brandit M65 Size S, which fits like M. Not happy with these, compared to my Helikon-Tex M65 (new) or Alpha Industries M65 (old)...
