Great video Ben love it, a couple of questions; does the DJI Action 2 visually obstruct your road view in the helmet? Do you use your phone much to film ?

Road view, no. Speedometer, yes. The height is a little adjustable, as I have two articulating adapters (?) so there is some play. I can also mount the camera upside down if I wanted to, or just mount the camera (no module), but I would lose the mic if I did it that way - lots of options! I use my phone occasionally, especially now that I have the iphone15, which gets some really great looking effects. iPhone and Ray Ban Metas (sunglasses) are my emergency and back up cameras.

For a good front and back view, you could mount the 360 to the top of your helmet like a unicorn horn... TradeMark unicorn horn view. haha

Lots of great content and pointers, so thanks for that. I tried a Zoom sound recorder setup like @MarcTravels does and I find it very frustrating to try to sync up. I did pick up a wireless mic setup with my Insta360 X3 and I'm going to give that a try. I found the Insta360 selfie stick with built in tripod very handy for static shots off the bike when I just need to drop it somewhere, ride off and ride past it. I'm still struggling with a chin camera mount because of the extra weight it puts in the front. My recent variant for that is an Insta360 Go3 with just the undocked camera. The downside to that is that it's hard to confirm that it's recording or shut off. Trial and error. Again, thanks for the tips.

Thanks! The way I film, I don't always wear the chin mount, but yes the weight can be fatiguing. One thing I forgot to mention with the DJI set up, is that it's voice activated. When used with the DJI mic, I can tell it to record anywhere and it'll start! Can also tell it to stop recording and shut down, quite handy when both hands are on the grips!
