It would be great to get some of these things for the Livewire One!

Really need crash bars in case of a tip over. During a tip over the $58.66 mirror hits first and snaps immediately. The bike falls over so far it takes a significantly bigger dead lift than I could muster to get it back up. Had to call a muscular friend to help me get it off the ground. I've always been able to get my last 8 bikes back up after tip overs (0and that includes two Gold Wings including one weighing over 800 pounds). I have always been able to just squat down with my butt against the seat and use leg strength and arms lifting the frame to allow me to tip it up. Can't do that with a LiveWire over to flat especially with all that battery weight up high. Pretty0 hard for even two men to get it back up.

For something as thin profiled as the Del Mar, I would use a different lift method, although I don't have trouble lifting it by myself. It's all about leverage. Livewire isn't done with accessories, this is just the initial wave, much much more to come!

Ben, your stories are great; keep 'em coming! I am a fan of Livewire and plan on getting a Mulholland as my first bike. I'd appreciate your thoughts on that. Also, as mentioned, nothing yet for Mulholland. One would think that it would have the same provisioning as the Del Mar. Lastly, is Livewire here to stay? What are your thoughts on that?

Thanks! Mulholland will be a great first bike. Accessories are coming for it, Del Mar was launched first, so those accessories have been ‘brewing’ a little bit longer - these things don’t just get made overnight. Lots of testing, prototypes, back and forth with designers had to happen - but there are loads of accessories coming for the S2 platform as a whole, not just the Del Mar. hard to say who is going to stay around. All I can say is that getting to where LiveWire is (actually making motorcycles) is hard as hell. Everyone forgets the companies that never made it beyond the first round of investors. LiveWire employees are a scrappy bunch, they’re gonna fight to stay around.

What kind of accessories would you want to see for the Mulholland?
@Enkay-f7z2 ай бұрын
@@AdventuresonZero All true, and understandably so. I also wonder about the ease of slow maneuvers where there's no clutch to get one into friction zone.
@Enkay-f7z2 ай бұрын
@@AdventuresonZero First and foremost saddlebags, crash/drop guards maybe?

Slow maneuvers, as in a parking lot/car park?

Still nothing for the Livewire One. Virtually all of the available accessories are just cosmetic ones. I did pick up "Momentum" sidebags from Viking bags. They compliment the good looks of the One.

LiveWire one is 5 years old - not gonna see anything official from LiveWire for accessories. I do plan on looking at whether something can be added to the LW1 that will use these

@@AdventuresonZero Please keep me informed on that. Particularly the windscreen. I realize that the Livewire One is five years old at this point. But they are still making them. And it is still their premier bike.
