Fun Fact When SRK first came to Bollywood after first 2-3 films(flops mostly) he said in an interview that he is here to take over the place of Amitabh Bachhan and every body laughed over it.He eventually did take over the place of Big B and now even Big B works for him. "Badla" movie was Produced under the banner of SRKs Production and he was literally boss of Big B.Hence always dream big you never know what future has for you.

@Abhishek Rana I do not agree. I hate a lot of things abt Karan Johar but we have to understand that cinema is an art. Being realistic is a choice not a necessity. Paintings, peotry etc, they all have genre that are far far from being realistic. As an art, cinema can also have an other direction. Karan Johar does emphasize the feeling, the drama, even if it's not realistic. I don't think it's a problem in itself, I think it's a question of taste. If it doesnt convey anything it's a failure, but I think it does hit the spot in most cases here, at least for me. I don't think that I'm having a guilty pleasure with India's 90', and certainly not nostalgia since I'm not indian and saw those movie for the first time. I just appreciate it. Actually, my favorites with SRK are Swades and MNIK, they're indeed very different and I appreciate them for different reasons. I also like Dil Se and K3G. I also like Chak De and Veer Zaara. Realistic or dramatic, there are different visions but both are enjoyable to me, and there is not one more legit than the other. They have different good points to me, it's a matter of art and tastes to me

Amazing review. Lovedthe fact that he pointed out the mistakes so honestly. Good going guys. And tat Khan dialogue came at the end of the video, I knew it would be there xD Also, if am not wrong, the point by Korbin at 16:00 is totally opposite of what Jaby had said xD. Absolutely agree with your review guys on the review points. Those moments of hurricane and other dramatic sequences are called "masala" in Bollywood movies to give some extra kick to audience. 1- Chak de india 2- swades 3- devdas Those are more on the serious side but from the beginning of his career and also with Kajol (which is pronounced more like the black stuff for eyeliner, less like jewel ) DILWALE DULHANIA LE JAYENGE, just keep in mind it's from the 90s... some scenes are a little over the top but it's great.

Hey Korbin do read this..In a flood and hurricane situation the people stranded actually don’t know till where the area is flooded..and the impact the hurricane has caused..and even due to lack of communication and news from outside they don’t know what is actually happening outside..so they stick to their place..while people outside do know and they come to help them...so that’s why in the film the Indians could come in while Mama Jenny and her people couldn’t go out.. Just noticed you have a deathly hallows tattoo Rick ? This is one of the better performances of SRK Kajol regardless of the movie is wonderful as always It's funny how the indian masses I feel require those "characters that tell them what's going on " but there are people for sure that feel exactly how Korbin felt ,including myself Thanks for the great, entertaining review :)

Rick, about the bonfire when Rizwaan n Mandira meet, you were right but not completely. In the Indian(I mean Hindu) culture, a fire is the ultimate witness of a couple coming together. It is the Holy Fire in front of which a couple are married off. A Fire is absolutely sacred for us; no ritual is complete without it.
