10mm or no mm. I never could get over how weird and clumsy those things look. So I ended up with a CMMG Banshee that does Glock mags. So it pairs well with my G29.

10mm testing with a carbine, that ought to be some interesting testing and results there, definitely tuned in for that. Tools it looks like you had a snow shower at the end of the video lol 😂. That is actually the first Kriss Vector video I’ve watched. My 10mm PDW is a CMMG Banshee and does that thing hit hard. The ft. Lbs. of energy on certain targets is outstanding. Be safe. ⭐️⭐️🇺🇸⭐️⭐️😎

I have one in 10mm as well, love it. Have to be a little careful to not slam the mag in and dislodge a round. Otherwise its an absolute laser (6.5" pistol version).

@@ToolsandTargets when 10 is 10 , it is great. When ten is some sorry almost. 40 +p, nah. As I have said before if you're not over 650, you are not 10. The 10mm is a .41 Mag in an auto. 735 ft lbs. Is a good start for 10. My carry is a RIA double stack 1911a+. The plus us features. But 16 rounds of Buffalo Bore 180'S, THAT WILL get me to a rifle or a shotgun to do some real fighting. Before you tell me I am wrong, I fought 2 wars, and I know what I want. You can grab whatever is your choice, but a Sig 416 in .25-45 sounds just about perfect under 300 meters. Just my opinion though.

I have a Super Long Slide 1911 that fits into a Vector shell similar to the thumbnail with the front rail attachment, and a Magpul stock. Now I just need a 20/30 round custom mag and I have my own custom Vector 1911. 😂😂😂😂😂😂

Looks like fun but at 8+ lbs it’s way too heavy for CQB. My sub five lb(unloaded) in 300ACC is far more deadly and maneuverable. But I love 10mm so wouldn’t mind having another platform in my locker.

When I made the, "not so sound financial decision" to add a 1cm sub gun to my collection, it came down to the Kris Vector, Grand Power Stribog, and the CMMG Banshee. I ultimately settled on the Banshee for the familiarity of controls. So far I love everything about it except the cost of feeding it.🤣🤣🤣 I never did get to shoot any of them until I bought the Banshee, so I was nervous... But I would still love to shoot the Kris Vector one day.👊

Banshee is more accurate and no recoil. I've got two of them set up differently. They shoot great supressed too. May want to start reloading. 10mm is easy to reload for plinking rounds.

@@rsbreeze 👊Already looking at pulling out the old press and figuring out what I need to order. I also have another Banshee, but it is the MK3 in 308 WIn. I put a high performance comp on it and it works, but it is the most obnoxious fire breathing dragon at the range,🫣 Gonna be reloading for it as well, it is even more expensive.

When I saw the first one many years ago, It was in 45-ACP and in full automatic, had a very high cycle rate, somewhere north of 1,000 rounds RPM very nice, I'l like to see it in jelly time. THX Brother B. 👊🇺🇸

The Kriss mag extensions are probably the most reliable if you want an extended 45 ACP or 10mm glock mag. Most of your other aftermarket extended mags in 10mm or 45 are trash.

I gotta run these some and make sure they're good to go. I have seen a few people say theirs misfeed a lot. I only ran that first partial mag and the rest have been standard Glock mag.

If y'all are shooting aac 9mm 115gr xtp hps be careful. They're using some very soft, low grade brass or something. I had a box and it would cause guns to light strike after 4 or 5 rounds. We did some inspection and the extractor was literally ripping brass off those cases and then it would get down inside the hole the firing pin comes out of, blocking it, causing light strikes. Taurus g3, Glock 19, and sw shield plus, happened in all of them. I run their fmj stuff, and I've run the hp's before too, no issue. But this time it was the entire 100 round box. Fire 4 or 5 til it light strikes, take it apart and there's brass shavings all inside the striker sleeve area.

Interesting. I actually had a box of their 10mm fmj where about 6 of the rounds had the bullets crammed way down into the case. It was obvious so I didn't load em up but yeah, they might need to slow down and do some better QC work.

@@ToolsandTargets yeah, I just had a box of Hornady critical defense that did that. They sent me a replacement box. I think the switch to brass cases is the problem. The new box didn't have that problem, also brass. So idk, but that aac 115gr xtp stuff, one box was fine and the next box was like every 6 rounds you'd get a light strike because of all the brass in the firearm. 3 different guns, same issue. They did not replace my box of ammo either when I told them.

@@ToolsandTargets I’m learning to live with the factory trigger. It’s no worse than a factory Glock, lol, and I don’t think the aftermarket options provide much of an improvement. But man, it’s accurate as is, at least 25 yards and in (5.5” barrel on mine). Love it!

When Brandon Herrera did his video of the Vector in .45ACP and folding stock I kinda liked it. God it's ugly as hell, and has a weird operating system, but it works and has a proven track record. 10mm is the only way to go with this tool!

I've had a alot of problems with the kriss mag conversions feeding properly. Hope its not the same for you. If so look for sgm mags and put the kriss spring in it if needed.

I hate to hear that cause I got like 3 of em I think.😆 I actually only ran that one first group with the Kriss ones and it wasn't a full mag by any means. Definitely gonna have to run em now to see what I got. What is going wrong with em? A spring issue?

Yea gotta get the SGMs, have the mag conversion for G20 and I’ve never been able to run it flawless after many attempts. Could be different for Vector obviously

I shot one of these in .45acp on full auto. it's insane, I'm a big guy and it was uncontrollable. 10mm would be so much worse. The cyclic rate feels impossible.

Curious, could you not use a brace and label that as a pistol avoiding the lengthy barrel? It's a really nice piece and it doesn't make sense IF it has a long barrel.

I find my Polish AKM smacks me in the cheek too, to the point where I don't take it out to shoot often. When I do, I keep a loose cheek weld. Not the most fun rifle at the range.
