Hi Euge, thanks for sharing this. I have a similar setup and wondered if you ever added a noise gate to your board? I feel like the SD-1 boosts the signal input that the Amp1 noise gate, even on the 'metal' setting, isn't catching given the higher noise level coming into the input via the SD-1.
@EugeValovirta230V2 жыл бұрын
Thanks! Nope. To me it does the job just fine and sometimes I press the reverb on (dialled to min) to use the softer gate ’cos the metal setting is sometimes a bit too tight. I mean I don’t have that much gain and a small noise is just part of the charm. I played years without a gate and my left hand and a volume knob was my gate so it’s good😎.

@@EugeValovirta230V that’s cool. It seems everyone has a different style of writing. *i think that speaker emulator is ruining the tone of that unit. If you compare it to your first video ran into a cab ETC. I will be loading mine down from the 8ohm jack and running it into a TWO NOTES CAB-M where I can use my OWNHAMMER I/Rs, this can work for a pedal board also and you would not loose any sound what so ever.*

Cool! Yeah hopefully sooner than later ’cos the last tour we did there was in 2018 if I remember correct. That was with Sabaton & Kreator 🤟.

@@EugeValovirta230V Euge I have a request: can you please do a cover of zakks no more tears solo? I think your one of a very few that can get that tone and obviously play the solo. Maybe a quick tutorial on how you achieve those Zakk pinch harmonics? Your the fuckin man 🤘🏻thanks

Just playing like I’ve been playing since 80s 😎. I’ve heard that there are a few other guys who plays a bit similar way and it’s all good. Music is just a beautiful thing 🙏.
