Congratulations on the new spot. I'm not abroad yet. But I too will be moving in with some friends to cut cost. Trying to recover financially from breast cancer treatment. I too is an intervert and like my own space. You gotta do what you gotta do.

I enjoyed your video! I live in France and am starting the apartment search process - it’s just like Mexico, except worse 😮. Trying to man up for the search which starts officially next week. Finding an apartment in a different country is soooo different than the U.S. In the U.S. if you have good credit and money, you can get an apartment. It’s a short process. Here in France, you better get your jumpin’ shoes on because you are going to be jumping through hoops you never anticipated. Finding an apartment is a topic that KZbinrs rarely talk about in a specific way. Thank you for sharing all the details. Last, congratulations on your new apartment!

Congratulations on finding a new place. You lost a couple of things you enjoyed about your old apartment, but ended up in a nice place nonetheless. I also think gaining a roommate so that your expenses remain reasonable and you can live in a nicer area is a great decision. Several weeks ago you did a video about moving abroad when you had little money saved, there was a comment that really had me thinking. I think the woman was in her mid 50’s and said she had NOTHING saved but wanted to move. I think we should really not be afraid to try co-living home or abroad. It’s probably also ideal for those that still want travel after moving. Why shoulder the full rent alone for a place that might be empty for weeks at a time? Hearing Mar on Stephanie’s live really drove home the idea to find like minded roommates to help lessen the load. We shouldn’t have to worry about being homeless after working for decades!

Congratulations to you and Mia 🎉. Wow your landlord is good! That’s right, we control our cost to live. If we need to move, no problem! We’re nomadic, we know how to move & find another great place to live. Woo woo!

I'm here in Capetown & I had the pleasure of speaking with this lovely from Nairobi. The husband was telling me how expensive things are getting here and they will not be coming here too much longer. It's a shame because they collect items from their home land & being here to sell for them. Everywhere is getting ridiculously expensive.😢😢 Keep in the videoa coming. I will continue to watch even if it's a replay.😊

Buying a brand new apartment in CDMX is a great deal, even with the low exchange rate. But the kicker is the extremely low maintenance/HOA, which is usually right around $125/month. (No insurance required) BUT, you have to pay cash.

Glad to see you and Mia got settled in! Good that you're still in the same 'hood; she will still see some famiiar surroundings. A lot of us are leaving, and these same changes/increases are going to be happening whereever we go. As a senior I would definitely consider that roommate thing, not just for financials, but for community, safety and companionship (good for your health). I'm glad you got a cool azz roommate!🤣

When you look at the cost of moving and what you went through was it worth the value of instead paying the rent of your old apartment? Is there that big a difference in the cost?

Your apartment is beautiful. Hola from Queretaro. ALLAH U AKBAR. GOD IS GREAT. These are the last days folks. MOVE! I moved to Queretaro, Mexico in 2021, but you still must be ALERT, and I was 79. I have hot water, no bugs or mice, and it is about 6 years old. I only have one neighbor next door, because it is an Airbnb, where I have a private monthly basis with owner.70% of the time next door is empty. I did not buy in Mexico, but I did have a time share in Acapulco for 6 years. I had a house in the USA and a condo. I stopped driving at 75, for I do have visual problems. I married twice and had one daughter in 1980.Put a limit on daily withdrawals from your cards. Take only one out, and tell the bank not to ok multiple withdrawals. one a day and limit it. Do not have s with strangers, and never bring them to your place. No jewelry or excessive cash. CHOP CHOP MOVE! YOU are not trees. Scopolamine aka Devil's breath is taking Passport Brothers out. RIP FENTANYL. RIP I am 81 and enjoy living in Queretaro, Mexico for the last 2 years. Over 61 years visiting Mexico, mainly Acapulco. I traveled the world on my own dime and all 50 USA states. GOD KNOWS THE TRUTH. LIVE ALONE! NEVER SHACK< MARRY OR HAVE BABIES. INVADERS! GET OUT. MOVE TO MEXICO. SENDING WARMTH FROM QUERETARO. Happy I moved to Queretaro in 2021 at 79 for 70% less expensive and safer. PRAYERS sent to my 1942 birth city CHICAGO from Queretaro since 2021. I know that cold weather big time. Thank God for the safety and warmth of this city. RIP. DO NOT ALLOW THE INVADERS TO DESTROY YOU. SCOPOLAMINE aka devils breath for the PASSPORT BROTHERS to RIP. The women are working with their men to take out your thirsty behinds. It can thrown in your face and you are OUT. Enjoy. Intelligent people never get played. Do they ever ask if the criminals have a permit to carry? TCB people, for we are on our own. I had no problem getting married to my own brown USA man. Men told me they wanted light skin and long lice infested hair. Marry who you want. I know they talk about black women, but they talk about you also. Do not care. You will be eliminated and your baby if you are pregnant by boys, who do not want to pay child support. Sterilization from birth. Search President Nayib Bukele of El Salvador, and how he deals with deadly criminal in his special prison. Fentanyl eliminates also, Please carry fake phones and cash for the attack animals. Do not carry a purse but do carry in hand you know what. Fentanyl on everything and the pills for robbers, since they love drugs. Do not walk alone, but have undercover police walking and be ready to TCB. Put a limit on daily withdrawals from your cards. Take only one out, and tell the bank not to ok multiple withdrawals. one a day and limit it. Do not have s with strangers, and never bring them to your place. No jewelry or excessive cash.

Hi Adalia, do you think its getting to the point where buying would be better long term? I feel like other countries are getting back lash from America. Encouraging them to turn away Americans.
@AdaliaAborisade8 ай бұрын
I don't know if that's the case. There will always be renters here and there are many advantages to renting. I think buying anywhere (but particularly) in Mexico needs to be really well thought out. I'd ask myself if I'd still want to buy a place if I could never sell it which is lowkey the reality for some folks.
