Motor trials is a lot of fun. I did it in the early 1970s when your countryman Mick Andrews was Champion. My favorite bike was my 1975 Ossa Mick Andrews Replica. I made it street legal and had a blast riding trials all over my native New York City. I hope you will have as much fun with motor trials as I did. Now in my seventies, I am into emtb riding. I am saving up for an Inspired Hex to see if I am too old for bicycle trials, or not.

These look amazing Tom I no you have always been keen to get on a trials bike as you no I spent years on them from the age of eight in schoolboy trials had many bikes and always enjoyed it maybe I can teach you a thing or two I would be keen to have a go and see how they compare to a combustion engine everything you do you do well mate make it look easy that’s the key trials legend Dad 👍👍👍

Those bike look pretty impressive and with only 4kg weight gain (70kg v 66kg) over a ICE Trails Bike and instant power ince used to delivery must be an amazing to ride. Cracking efforts Tom and Kara!!! 👍👍👍

maybe next e build….started building fast bikes…now I’m gearing down the motors for torque and fat tires, slower but more allround usage, like pulling lengths of trees for firewood, pulling mowing decks around the yard….lol. But a trials bike…hmm….I think I could build one…

I noticed it had a conventional back brake operated by foot, does that mean the motor also has a clutch, as I noticed the lever on the left bar? I also noticed another shorter black lever above the 'clutch' lever, what was that for?

Bit confused there, does the motor run all the time and use a centrifugal clutch? Maybe thats better for trials riding ,great vid and youre up my part the country! You should have nipped down the road to Gisburn trails

I don't know... I watched some of Sam pilgrims trials moto bike videos I just can't get into it, it's loud, they tear up the trails make them useless for everybody else, same as ATVs. E-moto trials doesn't seem any different, A lot quieter but still allowed compared to MTB. at least MTB has a culture built into it of trying not to screw up the trails, where it seems like moto sports are completely the opposite and nobody can have fun unless they screw up the trails.
