Absolutely stunning looking and sounding kit! Hard to go wrong with DW honestly, I have a 7x14 maple snare and a 5.5x14 copper snare from the Collector’s Series and love them like they are my children. Hope to get a Collector’s kit very soon. I almost cried when I saw this new video and I’m a grown man. It reminded me of when I got my first real professional drum set when I was 17 years old and it was the best day of my life. At first I was upset because your old (turquoise and pink) set was so unique to you. It was your Van Halen guitar of drum sets. Once you put the new kit together, the new colors do look actually kind of cool. I'm so glad you did an equipment walkthrough and discussed the details. DW is known for making really high quality drums, but I never knew about those unique features. It will take some time to get used to, but yeah, I like your new kid a lot.❤

I am a retired touring sound engineer after 43 years. They sound awesome. You did a great job tuning them. It is unreal how many drummers do not know how to properly tune their own drums.

True. Was a drum tech for 5 years in the 90s. A drummer who could bury me on the kit looked at me like I was a wizard when I said I’m gonna get your kit sounding actually good - and did! He was playing the kit like a kid plays with a new toy at Xmas haha.

@@FusionKush spend a bit of time with your kit. No matter what quality it is - and most even basic kits are pretty decent now - it will sound way better and be more fun to hit once it’s got nice even tones on you toms etc. I’m sure there’s loads of videos on tuning kits on your tube now. 👊🏻

Very nice! Those DW stock heads are good heads and sound amazing ,and pricey too. I have a custom collectors kit from 2000’ but i don’t play any more. Evens G2 ‘s are on them now. Id like to try the ec2’s. Maybe some day. Congrats on the sponsorship. You will enjoy them. Mike.
