Nothing could possibly damage your integrity Bo... you're very clearly a quality human being and we know you're completely unbaised. Put whatever ads make you money and enable you to continue making your awesome review videos. As long as the brand is relatively ethical and not scamming people, I reckon you're good. All the best bro.

Same here in Estonia , everything is so expensive. Prices are basically the same as Germany but the wages are much lower too. I take trips to Lidl to buy frozen pizzas. The sponsorship idea is great, you create free content for us and you deserve to make more income with it. Love your jacket!

I used to own a marketing agency, and I totally hear you on the ebb and flow of work. You should totally be a consultant for brands. I think that's what Chase does or did sometimes, gathering from what he's mentioned in past videos. Harness your knowledge to pick up extra streams of income 💪 I always wondered why you didn't include affiliate links way back when, but glad to see you're doing it now.

My everyday carry is a white X-pack camera bag sling. It is around 7 litres but can, if needed carry all the essentials, my Sony A6700 SLR, a spare lens and my Dell 8" tablet, keyboard and mouse. The white material does show up the dirty and although I can wash it down it will never be really white again. With end of life of Windows 10 I am looking for a replacement 8" tablet convertible. I can't find one with a higher end specification. Larger convertibles means going to a small backpack.

In terms of comfort, how would you rate between this Alpaka Go Sling Nano, Evergoods CAS2 , and Bellroy Chimera Sling? Which would you recommend if only 1 bag is allowed?
@Youknowthebo5 ай бұрын
Good question. In terms of comfort the Chimera has the most padded strap and therefore is the most comfortable. But it is also the biggest of the three. If I had to choose between the three it would be a draw between the Evergoods cas2.5 and the go sling nano. If I had to carry a bit more the cas has the edge. But overall the smaller go sling nano is the one I grab more often because I don't want a big bag with me
@damonc055 ай бұрын
@@Youknowthebo thanks for your insight! I meant the CAS2 from evergoods. I mixed it up with Bellroy Venture Sling 2.5. Keep up the great production!

I feel you, it's expensive in Germany, Austria (shoutout to @SurvivalLilly for keeping us informed!), and quite bad in the U.S. also, with 70% increases in food and housing prices. We're looking into a lot more self-sustaining solutions, dehydrating meals, growing herbs and vegetables, stretching bulk shopping as much as possible. Hang in there, Bo, we'll all pull through together!

Regarding the sponsors: No worries Bo, we all have to pay our bills. The Alpaka looks nice, but I will stay on team Heimplanet 😎 And I like the relative "stability" of your EDC, while interesting, I always find it a bit strange that some KZbinrs switch out their entire gear every month just for the sake of switching out gear 😉 Also: Everytime I see it I really want a first generation Smart. Cool little things.

Speaking about brands, why aren't there more youtubers review Tumi, Thule etc in comparison with Bellroy, Alpaka, Peak Design etc?
@Youknowthebo6 ай бұрын
I can only speak from my perspective: I don't review these "mainstream" brands that are predominantly readily available in most cities in brick and mortar stores. I like to review products that mostly are only available via Internet and people do need a review, because they can't check it out for themselves
@Brokenarcher6 ай бұрын
Maybe could explore that to gain more viewers and transition them into exploring lesser known brands. I agree seems like most bag KZbinrs review the same brands all the time.

I have been looking for a sling bag for awhile myself, I still stuck with backpacks for a bit since I still use a laptop and haven't made the switch to fully using a tablet I have in the past they are nice.. On being a freelancer I know about that, since I'm a retired Freelance Media person I guess that is current label 🤣 In my opinion world events have changed the economy a lot, Media work is changing with new technology aka the dreaded AI is changing that and will change it even more as the software gets stronger, even the newer Still Cameras are getting advanced. It used to be March through Mid December was the working season now it comes and goes. I kind of want to get back Into media work but I know I won't being doing cars or motorcycles again, got to find a new niche. I like your lunch, I try to eat as fresh and possible myself, Im Vegetarian but eat a lot of vegan dishes, I probably won't go totally vegan I still like some dairy now and then, I like yogurt, eggs and cheese, I tried the vegan versions of those products but I like the yogurt for the calcium and probiotic content. Protein wise I'm good there, I started using that Huel powder you use thats my breakfast. My other meals usually include beans and rice, peanut butter and the like and instead of empty carbs with breads I started using the carb smart tortillas ie wraps as my "bread".
@Youknowthebo6 ай бұрын
Thanks for sharing your thoughts. How you like Huel so far?
@bikecommuter246 ай бұрын
@@Youknowthebo I like it a lot, I drink it for breakfast and I'm full I find I don't want to do a mid morning snack anymore LOL since Im not spending money on snacks at a convenience store the Huel is actually paying it for itself in a way, if I know I'll be working a longer shift at work I'll mix up a one scoop serving and take that to work with me.

Companies around the world realized a few things during the pandemic. Those seem to be: people will pay crazy prices for things that they need, like groceries and medicine. So they all agreed to raise prices together. With higher prices, people are desperate for work. Which means they can give less pay and demand more work. You wont do it? Someone else will. CEOs are making 800% more than they made a few decades ago, and prices of almost everything have doubled since the pandemic. But workers wages havent. They'll keep squeezing until our wallets pop, or we do :(
