I love how all the queens kinda have their own personalities First queen acts like the empress of the colony and glides down the tube on her sisters like a parade float The second was a little reserved and quickly went into the nest. Guess she doesn’t like too much attention The third is the nimble one and had no trouble with the tube and getting to the nest The fourth is somewhat a klutz with her slipping, but she’s determined and makes up for her mistake with the help of her family The fifth is a little more graceful than the others, she knows what she’s doing And finally the sixth, guess she’s a little shy given how she was the last one, and afraid of heights because she climbs down sideways, either that or she’s a goof

I'm actually super overjoyed and proud of you for not giving up, and for doing this again. It was the saga of the Titans and the curse of the dragon that brought me to this channel and really started to follow eagerly. To see it revitalize warms my heart, and is very encouraging with how much you have learned since the passing of them in the past. Best of all, it really keeps you guessing what will happen week to week, what amazing or heartbreaking things may happen. Many people have said your sentiment, and I agree with it. I love this channel, but I hate that he uses "back from the dead" or "return" if it's not one of the original queens. I would feel better about it if the old name was the result of a poll. I think he at least calls the Jawbreakers Jawbreakers II, which does help, but I rather he asked first. It's like the Jawbreakers and Titans themselves had no value to anyone and are easily replaceable. It feels like those colonies themselves don't have anything that stood out about them except what species they were. It feels like the colonies don't have any unique personalities

I am brand new to this channel. I have no idea how I ended up here. I don't even intend on keeling ants - I'm happy with my three fish tanks. But these videos is so intriguing and awestriking it actually brings a tear to my eye. Im a '90 baby. Growing up, I watched LOADS of nature shows. I learned so much, and now have an undying love for animals! You hit the nail on the head, buddy. Nowadays, nature shows are about the dramatic moments of the wild "at best", or 100% desensitized crap about which puppy or kitten you should own... I've only watched these videos for a couple days and I've not only learned so much, but witnessed footage of some of the most incredible and intelligent lifeforms on Earth!... though I must admit, I sometimes feel itchy watching them, haha! AntsCanada, I salute you!

I tryed to make an ant colony back in the '70s. I had two pieces of round glass that I left only about a inch between in space. I really wanted to see the tunnels they made. It was crazy how fast they began to construction. My mom made me let them loose after we started having escapes. I can't remember what happened to the set-up. They were just common ants found in our backyard in California. I love that thing.

It's quite funny actually. It seems each one of these queens had different standings in this colony. The first one had a miniature army following her, while the last one just had a small following, and the major that was supposed to protect her was even far behind!
