Pan in my home there is a small parking and my vehicle is escalade it's backside is exposed to sunlight. I'm applying the graphene coat in night time and on morning my vehicle back part is exposed to the direct sunlight. And it won't affect the curing process on the car?
@PanTheOrganizer2 жыл бұрын
Don't apply coatings in direct sunlight. All manufacturers specify that. But after you're done applying, if it's in the sun, that is perfectly ok. It's actually good as it will accelerate the curing too. So apply in the shade. And after you're done, it can be in the sunlight the next day no problem.

I usually love the air dry method obviously from our past discussions but I know the importance of having a dedicated drying towel in the arsenal. I seem to find myself wanting to have many different flavors and so I absolutely love how the Gauntlet feels in the hand while the Twistress feels too crunchy for my preference. Hey pan thanks for another good video, what product would you recommend for car odor removal like throw up or vomit. I hate to ask but had a customer wanting me to remove it and I have no idea what to buy for it
@PanTheOrganizer2 жыл бұрын
That’s never a simple answer because it depends on many factors including what exactly was in the vomit and how long it has been there. Bare minimum is to clean the area with a carprt cleaner and extractor or steam cleaner. If the smell is stilk there, clean the rest of the interior and potentially use a fogger meant to deodorize. Last resort might be to use an ozone generator. So you start with quick and simple methods and move up in aggression levels depending on the results of each step.

I plan to have my car wrapped anywhere from a year or two after I polish. Considering the age, the paint does not seem that great, seems oxidized but I can't get a read on the health of the clear coat. I don’t understand the need for super large towels … considering most of us air dry the car first. Even if doing a RW, i use two small 16x16 towels, let one get wet and ring out when necessary. 2nd to buff away any streaks.

Hey pan do you have any videos or tips on washing your microfiber towel after using it?
Hi Pan, Thank you for uploading this video. I am aware that for drying towel applications, the best blend is 70% Polyester / 30% Polyamide, with an edgless finish, of course. This combination is best for drying and minimizing scratching. This towel looks very interesting, but I am curious as to what the blend is? The manufacture does not specify on the site. Thanks.
@PanTheOrganizer11 ай бұрын
When I asked the brand they said it's a 70/30 blend. But blend alone doesn't tell the full story. It's not the only criteria for the quality of a towel. But see my most recent microfiber drying towels battle video here: kzbin.info/www/bejne/e2KThJ2jhNWmbacsi=LUYjQvHaclgQqtOn

@PanTheOrganizer2 жыл бұрын
If you are using Revive, it’s a rinseless wash so it also acts as your drying aid. No need to spray more drying aid. Just towel dry after using Revive. You would use a drying aid to towel dry the vehicle after a regular wash with soapy water.

Great great video. Drying towels are extremely cool. I don't have this brand, but I found that having a few smaller drying towels is better for me then a big one. The big drying towels pick up soooo much water that they weigh a ton. Hard to manipulate in some areas, and want to hit the ground occasionally. Of course I am weak and pathetic too! Lol. After each use would you wash your drying towel, or is it OK to just hang towel and let it dry? I don't have alot of towels, so what do you recommend? Thank you for this demonstration. Cool video.

great video as always. I have a question. what do you use more. your ego, bigboi, metrovac blowers or the drying towels? and which is better. thanks so much
@PanTheOrganizer2 жыл бұрын
It’s not a question of which is better but what method you prefer and if you have protection on your paint or not. As I have a high quality coating and had the budget for a car dryer, I use my blowers to blow the majority of the water off, and then finish with a microfiber towel and drying aid. But for someone who has a smaller budget, these Luxury Microfiber towels are the best I have tested. Also if you don’t have protection on your paint, blowers aren’t as efficient so towel drying is a better option.

Hi Pan just a quick question are the twist loop microfibre towels safe on sensitive paints such as black or should I stick to plush drying towels ?
@PanTheOrganizer Жыл бұрын
They’re perfectly fine. But keep in mind, when towel drying, always use a drying aid for added lubrication. Here’s my latest video on the best drying towels: kzbin.info/www/bejne/e2KThJ2jhNWmbac

I bought these on your recommendation and love them! I just noticed that they look remarkably similar to The Rag Company’s Liquid8R and 1500 drying towels. Are they made by the same manufacturer?

Hi, Pan. Great video as always. Maybe this is a silly question, but when you say "one towel dries the whole vehicle" (or similar) are you periodically wringing the towel out to remove water previously pulled off the vehicle? The video doesn't show you doing that, but it seems like you would have to. Either way, I'll have to try these towels out, but I would like to fully understand how you are using it.

I didn’t need to wring the towel for this SUV. :)

Great video! Can you please add links, photos, comments, and tutorial videos to your favorite products on your website so we can see all your favorite products in one place!?!? It will make it easy for amateur detailers like me to find quality products and things that I didn't know I needed. Also, the banner on your website looks good, however, could be updated to fit/be consistent with screen sizes.

you must be new to the channel. he's got a whole video every year of the "best detailing products" in every category you can think of. also, look for the ones where he's working on his Porsche, then you can know which he uses personally 😄

@@BlackQ60s yes I saw the video, but it wouldnt it be nice to have a readable version of that video? Also it could be easily updated, is right on his website, and much easier to share with friends. It also helps when comparing products!

I work super hard to produce all my videos, and keep my social media sites going. It sounds simple to make KZbin videos, but it’s the hardest thing I have ever done. Almsot six years now. Detailing alone is super demanding, so imagine filming all the steps on top of that. And I often restart everything twice as I also make videos in French. Luckily I am blessed with such an awesome audience that supports me and has helped my channel become onenof the biggest car detailing channels on KZbin as we’re about to surpass 750,000 views and 100 million views. So I try my best but there are things that are just too much to look into at this moment. Thanks for understanding.

Hey Pan! Thanks for the video. I have the Sucker Jr and it works great! I need help. I always use a drying aid…Beadmaker. I have a problem with the Sucker working well after a few washes (I use Chemical Guys microfiber wash)and I’m assuming that the Beadmaker is not totally being washed out it. What do you think?
@PanTheOrganizer2 жыл бұрын
Yeah that often happens when using powerful drying aids. They tend to coat the fibers. You have to use a very good microfiber detergent like P&S Rags to Riches. I wash my microfiber towels with that after each use. That detergent was designed to help remove sealants from the fibers. In your case, as your towels are already coated, start with pre-soaking them in warm water and a few ounces of Rags To Riches overnight, then wash them with the same detergent the following day. It should help restore them if they’re not too far gone.

Hi Shaggy! Welcome to my channel. You discovered one of the biggest car detailing channels on KZbin as we surpassed 820,000 subscribers and 100 million views! I have been detailing for 25 years and I love to share my knowledge and passion with my viewers. You found the right channel to help you learn everything about detailing. Always wash new microfiber towels before their first use. You don't have to wet the drying towel before drying the car, but it's a neat trick I like to use with microfiber drying towels as it seems to work better. You can try both methods and see which one works best for you. With this specific towel though, as it's super absorbant, no reel need to wet it before use. It's also harder to wring out as it's pretty big and thick. It should dry your vehicle in one use. How did you discover my channel by the way?

Thank you for responding and for the additional information. I was researching how to ceramic coat a car myself and what products would be best to use. Your channel came up a few times, and I loved it. I could tell you knew what you were talking about and took pride in your work, unlike others. Every time I think of how I should properly do something or what chemicals I should be using, I look on your channel and order the products.
